"Last stop!" Came a shout from the front of the bus."Last?" You nervously shouted back, eyeing the scenery through the window."Yup- last stop""Oh..." you picked up your stuff and walked down the aisle with a wobble in your legs, "do you....do you know where we are?""Somewhere up in the mountains- why? You get the wrong bus or sum'n?""Um, yeah, it looks like I did" you nervously stated.""Where you goin?"You hesitantly told him where your neighbourhood was, already feeling scared at the stupid situation you were in."There's another bus stop not far from here- once you get off keep walking, take a left, then a right and you'll come to a small road with a bus stop. Bus should come soon and it'll take ya through there. It's the brick one, ya can't miss it""Oh- thank you, I thought I was gonna be stranded" you cautiously laughed. He wished you well before you got off the bus- but all you wanted to do was get back on.It was pitch black outside- not even the moon offered any light. Every so often there was a dim flicker of an ember glow from a street light, but other than that you were on your own.

Fuck

Fuck fuck fuck fuck

You hated walking alone in the dark any time you had to- never mind when you were in the middle of nowhere. Ok.... which way did he say to go? Left then right? Walk for a bit, then left, then right...Your heart was racing and out hands shook as you tried to type out a message to your mom.

To: momFrom: (y/n)Hi, might be late, got the wrong bus so I have to find another bus stop :/ got low battery too.It took a while to send because of the horrendous signal, but after a while of positioning it perfectly in the air it went through. Fuck this entire situation...

Should I call someone?

Or should I make sure I'm aware of my surroundings-

I don't wanna waste my battery though, plus I don't think the service is good enough for that...

Do I turn off here?

A few metres infront of you there were two left turns.

The second one had street lamps and seemed much safer, the first was pretty sketchy looking. It was dark and surrounded by a high fence- more like a path unlike the other which had a road and pavement.

Well- which one do I go down?

The second one looks safer but that doesn't mean it leads to the bus stop-

The driver would likely only know the roads- so he probably doesn't even know there's a little path- so I should go down the second-But- he seemed to know the area pretty well, what if he's from here and knows the way? What if it's just a bus stop used by the locals and only they know how to get to it? He did say it was only a small road too.,,

Shit....I really don't know what to do...

You decided to call your mom despite the bad signal, she probably wouldn't know where you were or what to do either but it'd make you feel safer."Mom?" Her voice was quiet through the phones speaker as you nervously eyed the lowering battery."Where are you?""The driver said I was somewhere in the mountains- but other than that I've got no clue. He said to take a left but there's two lefts real close to each other. Ones a road and ones a path-""Where did he tell ////to go?" It was crackly and her voice cut of temporarily halfway, but you got the point of what she was asking."Another bus stop- a brick one or something""Oh! ////think i know that ////get there ////I'll come get you"You'd probably try and send her your location after the phone call- that's if the signal would allow it, just to be sure that she would be going to the right area."Thanks-"The small crackle from the other side of the phone came to a stop as your phone died.

Oh my fucking god

What the hell?!

Today is not a good day for me...

It's dark, it's cold, I'm tired and scared- fuck this. Now you were yet again faced with the decision of which road to go down. This place is fucking terrifying—————————

He sat outside in the dark- something that had become a sort of ritual for him. He'd gotten so comfortable inside of the home that every other location seemed unreal- like a figment of his imagination. Like the rest of the world didn't exist.Everything seemed to feel...floaty.
It all seemed airy and light and ethereal -like something from a book. The dark acres of land creeped up slowly to the glowing decrepit house like dark shadow hands itching to get at the warmth of the home. (Y/n)...She's probably all snuggled up in bed by this time- he fondly thought. Then his mind wandered to his 'friends' and he got more and more irate. What had happened to him?His shift in behaviour was so out of his control that Tendō himself didn't even realise that he'd changed so drastically.

His friends noticed, everyone around him noticed. To them, he just seemed...angry.He'd get irate over small things, he'd snap at someone for talking to loud or making too much noise, he hated people touching him, he scolded anyone who tried to talk to him because he didn't like the 'condescending' tone. He was overwhelmed very easily- the volleyball club was just too much for him now. On the rare occasion he did go, everyone would be speaking and shouting and running and giving different commands- it almost always lead to a sensory overload. He couldn't deal with it. It panicked him and in turn he'd freak out and shout at everyone then leave.
Of course- to everyone else, it just looked like Tendō was being an asshole...

He didn't seem outwardly depressed, there were no signs of self harm, he didn't seem overly anxious about anything... nobody could understand him. Why was he so irritable? What was he so angry about?

Why was he annoyed at them all the time? It made everyone else feel on edge around him, like they were walking on egg shells to avoid confrontation. In the end, people just started avoiding him. They didn't like the feeling of being one step away from an argument all the time.

It was weird because Tendō liked being left alone but it made him resent everyone even more- he didn't understand his emotions.
