Narrator's Pov

Nadia got off one stop before her new house and preferred to walk instead of having to stay on the bus next to that annoying Raccoon.

Nadia's new house was much bigger than her old one. It had two floors and was painted yellow on the outside. It had a jacaranda tree in front, it was walled and had a parking lot on the right side of the house.

The house was on a very quiet street where there were some well-kept houses and some very ugly ones.

Nadia walked to her house a little discouraged about having moved to that place. The new house could even be prettier, but she didn't like being there.

Disheartened, Nadia rang the doorbell and sighed dejectedly, waiting for someone to come answer.

- Nadia, and you? - Her father asked.

- Yes, it's me - said the puma in a discouraged voice.

- Just wait a minute - said Nadia's father who was changing the light bulbs in the kitchen.

While Nadia waited for her father to come and answer the door, she took the cell phone that was in her coat and went to check WhatsApp, hoping that her ex would send her a message.

Nadia went to Rafael's profile and she had sent him a message but he hadn't replied.

Nadia typed a hi to Rafael at the same time her father opened the door.

When Nadia returned to her new house, the rest of the furniture from the move was already in its proper places.

Nadia entered the new house like a zombie, threw her bag on the couch and sat down on the couch dejectedly.

- Nadia, is everything okay? - asked the mother to her daughter who was dejected.

Nadia sighed and said - I didn't want to be here, I'm far from Rafael.

- I know it's being difficult, but can't you two keep talking on the cell phone? - Asked the mother

- It's not the same thing - said Nadia

- Now he's there alone and the piranhas are all watching him - said Nadia.

- I really wish I could go back and be close to him - said the puma.

- We can't and you know why - said the mother to her daughter.

- Can't you two spend the weekend together? - asked the mother.

- If we're going to spend the weekend, he'll only be here during the day and I'll keep an eye on you two - said Nadia's father who always had his suspicions about the character of his daughter's boyfriend.

- Ugh - said Nadia.

- Why are you mad? We're trying to find a solution - said the mother.

- He's there surrounded by piranhas, do you understand? Cristina just keeps an eye on him all the time, don't you understand? - asked the puma

- And what did you want me to do? - My job is here now - said the puma's father.

- But dad - said Nadia.

- Nadia, you're getting on my nerves, my job is here now, I'm not going back there, how were we going to live? - said the father, already losing patience.

- That's enough Nadia - said the mother, who was already tired.

- We've already talked about this, if you want to see your boyfriend, invite him to come here - said the father, trying to end the subject.
