Nadia's Pov

Cristina and I had just had a huge fight. We had been separated by two security guards. I had a huge scratch on the right side of my face. My hair was all disheveled and I was missing one of my shoes. I was devastated for having been betrayed and I felt like my heart had shattered into a thousand pieces.

Rafael's silence had hurt me a lot. I sent messages and he didn't reply. I loved him very much but he was just using me. He was so disgusting that he barely bothered to separate Cristina and I while we both rolled around on the floor.

At that moment, I was in the bathroom with two friends and looking at myself in the mirror and I couldn't stop crying. I saw that huge scratch on my face and tears and tears were falling so much because I was embarrassed for leaving like that, and at the same time I felt hatred towards myself both for having been embarrassed and for having given myself to that disgusting Rafael.

- Nadia, I'm so sorry - said James, a friend of mine who was a puma.

- I was so stupid, how could I not want to see? He was just using me, I feel like crap - I said to both of them.

- It wasn't your fault, he was never any good - said James.

James looked at Lucy, my tiger friend, with that look on his face: I knew this would happen.

- How am I going to leave like this with my face all scratched up? - I asked as more tears fell from my eyes.

- I feel like going back there and hitting him in the head with that broomstick - I said as I had a fit of rage and grabbed a broom and was about to leave the bathroom.

- No Nadia, don't go - said Lucy, standing in the bathroom entrance.

- Calm down, Lucy! Calm down! - said James, holding the broomstick that I was holding.

- Let go of James! , Let me get revenge on that idiot - I shouted while James didn't let go of the broomstick.

- Let go of James - I said pulling the broomstick.

- Nadia, you're not going to do this because that's what he wants, can't you see? He's messing with your face, if you go after him he'll come out looking like the hottie - Lucy said also holding the broomstick.

I was so angry that James was having trouble holding me back, after what Lucy had told me I became a little thoughtful and slowly let go of the broomstick.

- That's it, Nadia, let go of that handle, you're going to go home and everything will be fine - James said grabbing the broomstick.

He managed to convince me to let go of the broomstick and stay calm.

- Is recess over yet? - James asked Lucy.

The siren rang, indicating the end of recess. “It’s over now,” Lucy said.

“Let’s wait for everyone to go into class and then I’ll call my uncle to drop her off at home. We can’t let anyone see her like this,” James said.

“Nadia, it’s going to be okay. We’re your friends. We’re on your side,” Lucy said, holding my paw.

I had another crying fit and the principal came into the bathroom asking what had happened. I didn’t feel like talking to her, so I watched Lucy and James tell her everything that had happened while I stood leaning against the bathroom sink and couldn’t stop crying.

The principal seemed a little moved by what James and Lucy had said to him, and she kind of surreptitiously agreed with me, maybe because she knew how disgusting and mocking Cristina was.
