"Oi-ya? You were not kidding when you said you would be back by the start of the new school semester." Usaida greeted me as my brothers and I just walked through the Babysitters Clubroom door.
Even though my fever went away, I still wore a face mask for extra caution. "It is the new semester so I had to be here."
Before Ryuuichi and I could even settle down, the kids started running towards us.
"RYU-NIICHAMA!"
"RYU!"
"YUNA!-CHAN"
"YUNA-NEECHAMA!"
I panicked and didn't want the kiddos to jump on me since I just recovered so I quickly hid behind my brother and allowed them to tackle him instead.
"Ah! C-Careful!" Ryuuichi shouted before falling to the ground with Kotaro in his arms. I stood there and watched all the kids hugging my brother and couldn't help but to internally squeal at how cute they were being.
"Okay everyone! Time to get off of Ryuuichi now." I clapped my hands, ordering the kids.
They did as they were told and each stood a couple inches back, giving Ryuuichi and Kotaro space to get up.
"Are you feeling better Yuna?" Usaida continued speaking, knowing that his interruption from the kids were over.
I nodded my head and flashed Usaida a grin, although he clearly cannot see it underneath my face mask. "I am all good. Just wearing this to be extra safe for the kids." I said, pointing at the mask. I purposefully wore a cute tiger printed face mask since Kotaro picked it out for me earlier this morning.
"Oh that reminds me Usaida..." I fumbled through my backpack and took out the Babysitters Club flyer we worked on over the weekend. "Ryuuichi, Kotaro and I worked on the club poster and are ready to hang it up!"
Usaida picked up the poster and began reading with little Midori in his arms. I watched as the girl tried to reach for the poster in curiosity. "Eh? Nice work you three. Put a lot of effort into it too."
"I actually got to take a look at the board before coming in here." Ryuuichi started speaking. "But it was actually already pretty covered."
I looked at my brother with wide eyes. "Huh!? We literally just started the new semester and all the students already covered up that board!?"
Ryuuichi nodded his head. "Are there any other areas where we can hang our poster?"
"Sadly no. Only that club board. We're not allowed to hang club posters anywhere else. Grandma's pretty strict about that." I answered, placing a finger to my chin.
"Well in that case..." Usaida chimed in, turning our attention to him. "How about for today's walk with the kids, we'll take a look at all the other clubs and have them see what our club is all about."
As Usaida was talking, I couldn't help but be distracted with watching Midori grab a fistful of his hair and tug at it. I tried my best not to laugh but I did let a chuckle escape.
"That sounds like a good idea!" Ryuuichi said excitedly. "Oh but won't we be bothering the other clubs?"
"Nope!" I added. "It's actually the perfect time so that way we can use their cuteness to recruit students."
I knelt down, approached Taka and started squishing his cheeks to show proof of what I meant.
"Y-Yuna-chan! L-Leave my face alone!" Taka protested as he tried to escape from my grasp.
"Aw but you're so cute Taka." I said as I continued to play with his cheeks. "We're going to recruit people with these cheeks."
"Y-Yuna you got a scary look on your face..." Ryuuichi pointed out as he looked at me in fear.
