White Day is celebrated one month after Valentine's day.
This gives male individuals the chance to reciprocate their expression of love or social obligation if given a gift on Valentine's Day.
Even if a gift was not given, some men use this as an opportunity to confess their love as well.

"Good morning Lady Yuna" Saikawa greeted me as I entered through the dining room door.
"Good morning Saikawa"
"Good morning Ryuuichi-sama, Kotaro" He then greeted my siblings who entered the room right after me.
"Good morning Saikawa" Ryuuichi greeted
"Oa-yo" Kotaro greeted cutely.
Saikawa took out a tray of chocolates and placed them on the table. "I have prepared some chocolates as my token of appreciation for the three of you. Happy White Day."
"Thank you Saikawa!" Ryuuichi and I said in unison. Kotaro cheered and happily ate a piece a chocolate, but only one since we didn't want him to be too hyper for the morning.
"Ryuuichi-sama I have made extra chocolates for you to give to anyone special you have in mind." Saikawa said as he handed my brother two boxes of chocolates.
I watched Ryuuichi stand there in confusion while I face palmed since I knew the man is semi-clueless about romance. "Ryuuichi do you even have any ladies in mind that you would want to give them to?"
With Kotaro in his arms, the baby boy looked up at his elder brother with a questionable expression.
"Uh....I'm not too sure Yuna. Do you know someone I should give them to?"
Once again, I face palmed at how hopeless he is. "I do have two people in mind that you can give to but its up to you if you want to."
"Eh? Who should I give them to?"
"Inomata and Yuki"
Ryuuichi tilt his head in confusion. "Why them?"
Jeez brother are you that oblivious?
"Well, Inomata has been pretty helpful around the kids in terms of giving them sweets and even low key being protective. So I would say it would be a good act of kindness from you to her." I said as a good excuse to get him to give her chocolates. "As for Yuki...." I actually don't know what to say for her. I know she has a crush on him but I'm not sure. "You can give her some chocolates as a good way to invite her to the Babysitters Club!"
"What do you mean by that Yuna?" Ryuuichi was even more confused as he picked up the boxes and placed them in his backpack.
"I guess I'm saying that it doesn't hurt to try and invite her to join the Babysitters club?" I said in more of a question format than an answer. I wasn't even sure anymore of what I was saying but I'm just rolling with it.
"Oh I get it! That's a good idea Yuna. I think Ushimaru might be interested!"
Thank goodness my brother can be kind of dense sometimes...just sometimes.
