the team was playing at a new rink in anaheim, so they took the bus to the arrowhead pond rink. it was a pretty big stadium, which makes sense. it was the championship game, so arabella figured there'd be a lot of people.

the team was getting ready, and arabella was sitting between fulton and averman, and kenny in the bench across.

adam walked in with his bag, and everyone wondered why he was in the locker room. he told them that he'd be in the stands next to the bench, but now he was in the locker room.

"coach! i woke up, and the pain was gone." to prove, he rotated the stick, just like coach had tried to get him to do.

arabella cheered, and so did the rest of the team. but the cheering stopped when bombay looked sad. "adam, i'm sorry. we already have a full roster."

arabella forget about that. russ had taken adam's place. charlie looked over at russ and jesse, and russ was about to take off his pads so adam could play, but charlie stopped him. arabella knew charlie, and when she looked over at him, she knew he was going to give up his spot.

charlie walked over to adam and bombay, looking at both of them. "it's what i can do for the team."

he looked over at adam, telling him to take his place. adam looked like he didn't want to, but he gave in. he put an arm on charlie's shoulder, and arabella smiled.

"charlie, i need you on the bench, coaching right there with me." bombay handed him the whiteboard.

everyone cheered, and arabella grinned. "let's go coach spazway!"

the team walked out of the locker room, and two rink workers opened the doors for them. arabella watched as the crowd cheered, and she looked in amazement.

there were a lot of people, and she couldn't help but feel happy. it was the last game she'd play with this team, and she knew she had to make it good. she turned to the seats surrounding where they were walking, and a little girl was wearing a jersey with arabella's number on it.

arabella grinned, feeling happy. she waved at the girl, and said she liked her jersey. the little girl squealed in excitement as she looked up to her mom, who was filming the interaction.

they walked onto the ice, goldberg leading them. the team skated to their bench, where bombay was smiling. "heads high! stand tall! fly straight! u.s.a!"

the team cheered, "all the way!", before breaking out to go onto the bench or ice.

arabella and guy were the two wingers, with averman as center, fulton and dean at defense. right when the puck dropped, the iceland player got it and passed it to his teammate, before shoving averman down.

arabella watched as iceland took the puck, and skated towards the winger from the other team who was calling for a pass. arabella intercepted it and was about to pass to guy, but as she did, an iceland player knocked him down and shot the puck up the boards, where goldberg got it behind the net.

he handed it off to dean, who got checked into the boards by an iceland player. arabella looked at the jersey, and she saw the last name was stahl. he took the puck up towards the blue line, and shot it. luckily, goldberg stopped it with his stick. arabella cheered, happy they didn't score just yet.

however, he didn't stop the puck, which meant the play was still going. an iceland player got it, and another one tripped goldberg, making him fall to the ground. he scrambled to get the puck from the iceland player, but they scored anyway.
