Entering the video store, Alex immediately darted his gaze to the counter. When he saw you helping someone, he quickly looked away and walked further inside the building, fiddling with the camera around his neck. Roier followed close behind.
"Okay, okay--! It has to be a funny movie, I like funny movies" Roier wrapped an arm around Alex's shoulder and led him to the comedy section. The two looked at all the different movies but Alex's eyes kept drifting to you, he'd look away and remind himself not to be obvious but then he'd find himself staring at you again.
Roier looked at Alex.
"Uhh," Alex hesitated, not sure if his friend had said anything or not. "Yes" Alex nodded, agreeing with something he wasn't even aware of. The taller man snickered, worrying Alex. "W-Wait-- wait, what did you say?"
Roier leaned closer to his friend. "I asked if you liked that girl over there.." He laughed as Alex shoved his shoulder and took back his response.
"No..!" Alex shook his head. He glanced at you and quickly looked away after catching you staring at him. "I don't..!"
You looked away from Alex and sighed, deciding to restock the returned movies since the two (you were just watching) were the only customers in the building at the moment. Plus, no one else was currently working, it was only you and your boss, who was in the back room.
After grabbing a few movies from the stack you had below the counter, you stepped out from your spot and began to put the movies back where they went. Horror, Thriller, and Comedy. You stopped in your tracks when the two men looked at you before quickly stepping out of the way.
You stretched and slid one of the movies onto the highest shelf. Roier cleared his throat and you turned your head to him. "My friend is very tall, he can help you!" He pushed Alex forward. The shorter man shoved Roier away and stepped back.
