Yana's POV

as me and Aubrey sit waiting for Paige,she finally knocks on the door, I yell

"Come in"

"Hey guys" Paige says

"Hey, wait who else is coming"

"Basically everyone on the team but Nika,
and azzi is riding with us" Paige says

"Great" I mumble

"So let's get going" Aubrey said, sensing the mood is getting awkward.

I grab my keys and close the door, as I'm getting closer to Paige's car I can see Azzi sitting in front, great I got to sit next to Nika fucking Muhl.

As we make our way into the car Nika slides to the middle, I get on the right side while Aubrey is sitting on the left.

There is weird tension in the air, so Paige starts a conversation with Aubrey as those 2 are talking, I look out the window feeling someone's eyes on me I turn around and lo and behold. It's Nika.

As I started to shift my body towards the window more I feel Nika's hand glaze my thigh.

I start to get butterflies in my stomach, but quickly snap out of it.

We arrived to one of the on-campus houses which they are hosting the party at, we all jump out the car and Azzi is the dd for the night.

We all decided to meet back in the front at 12:30 so we can head out because we still have practice. As we enter the house I see the rest of the team sitting at the homemade bar. Aaliyah hands me a cup saying it was KK's "special" drink but I just drunk it anyways. I drunk a little more than I should have but wasn't that drunk to wear I can't stand up.

I spot Nika and decided to go over there trying to clear what ever one sided beef she had going on. I head over there wrapping my arm around her shoulder,she surprisingly wrapped her arm around my waist.

I turn my head facing her and she smiles but before I can say anything she quickly removed her hand from my waist as soon as she Paige and Azzi coming towards us.

"I see someone's getting along with my twin" Paige says

"Fuck off bueckers" Nika quickly says

I quietly laugh under my breath

"I'm going to get something to drink" Nika says and quickly leaves

"Looks like someone got a crush on Muhl" Paige says

I give her a disgusted face "I'm not gay,sorry but she going to have to find someone else with that attitude"

"Sorry didn't mean no harm" Paige says with her hands up like she's surrendering.

Nikas POV

as I go to something to drink,my mind just keeps going back Yana. I see her coming over so I think this is the perfect opportunity to tease her. I signal to her to come over, and as she was standing right next to me I grabbed her by the waist and whispered in her ear knowing she has a boyfriend "I can do the shit that he never did"

Flashback (early that day)

I hear a knock at my door and it's Aubrey
I look at her with a confused look on why she is at my dorm.she sits on my couch and says

"What's ur problem with Yana she told me you bumped her in the shoulder earlier today"

"Nothing" I said softly

"Well you better get ur hot head together"

"I don't know if you like her or something and trying to play hard to get but she has a bf"

"Ok" I said putting my head down playing with my fingers.
