Jayda and Duke got up at around 10 solely so they could go get waffle house. Jayda didn't even used to eat waffle house that much but Duke was a bad influence.

They were currently on the way there but Chris and Kayla stayed at the house as they had already gotten themselves food.

They finally arrived and made their way inside the building. It was quite busy but had a few empty tables.

A waitress came over and grabbed two menus, before showing them to their table. "I'm Laila i'll be your server today. Just call me when y'all are ready to order. I'm a massive fan of your music by the way" the girl couldn't help but show her love for Jayda.

"Awhh thank you boo, and sure we'll call you when we're ready" Jayda responded, smiling. They were getting a lot of stares from people as it was so busy and everyone seemed to recognise them, or at least recognise Duke.

The waitress disappeared to another table while two little boys came over to the table. They both asked for pictures with Duke and handed Jayda the phone so she could take them.

Duke stood up and stood in between them, placing his hands on both of their shoulders. "Smile y'all" Jayda said, grinning behind the phone.

After taking a few pictures, they ran back to their table to show their mom. "Excuse me ma'am" Duke said to the waitress, who walked back over.

"I already know what I want" he began to read out his order and she wrote it down. "What will you be having today?" the waitress asked Jayda.

"I'll just have whatever he's having but if it's some big back ass order just make it smaller" Jayda responded and Duke chuckled.

The waitress disappeared to the kitchen and Jayda looked at Duke. "She's so polite I love her..." she trailed off.

"How you feel about last night? You gon talk to Kayla?" Duke asked and Jayda nodded. "I got to, she don't need him but she need to know he's out now"

"Yeah that makes sense... you wanna get to know him?" Duke asked and Jayda shrugged. "I mean i'm a grown ass woman now, so it's different. Maybe I can get to know him"

"Even when I found out he was Kayla's dad I was confused because if he cheated why would my mom go back just to be left again? It ain't her fault but it's just a lot"

Duke reached over and grabbed Jayda's hand, rubbing the back of it with his thumb. "I got you Jay. I love yo annoying ass so imma be here every step of the way"

Jayda giggled and lifted her hand up, kissing his hand and smiling. She was genuinely so happy with him, maybe it would be better to just be together again.

After eating, Duke paid the bill and they both got up to leave. "Y'all can I get a picture?" The waitress asked and Duke nodded.

The girl stood in between Jayda and Duke and someone else took the picture for her. "Can I get one with just Jayda?" she asked and Jayda smiled.

"Of course girl" she responded and she and the girl stood together while the person took another picture.

A few more people began to surround them for pictures so they decided to get everyone's pictures out the way so they could just leave.

A woman walked over and stood next to Duke, wrapping her arm around him and taking a selfie. Duke put his arm over her shoulder and posed so she could take another picture.

"You fine as hell for real" the girl said and Duke chuckled, moving onto the next person without even responding.

Jayda wasn't the jealous type but that girl was gorgeous. She knew Duke wasn't interested though because he barely even looked at her.
