A few weeks later, and finally, after escaping her sisters. Artemisia stood before a beautiful lake, made by Clovis for his manor. Walking to the edge of the doc, she stared at the clear crystal like water, filled to the brim with plants and life, just no fish. She wore white sleeveless dress, with golden lacing. It was shorter in the front while the back trailed after her. She simply took a single step forward, staring down at the water, three to four feet above the water, kicking off her shoes, she walked to the edge of the dock. Her arms reached out as she stepped off the edge.
There was an echoing splash as the princess jumped into the water, her eyes opened as she blinked a few times. Her eyes adjusted, then she began to swim. She just swam, swimming through the water. No real reason, just because it's one of the things that relaxed her. After a while, when she needed to breathe, she swam up. Her head broke through the water and she took I'm a greedy breath. For a bit she just treaded water, breathing. Then leaning back, she began to float. Her eyes focused up to the sky as she floated. She was down two knights. Jeremiah was hunting Zero on Cordelia's  orders, while Triston was still back with her father. Leaving Artemisia with Feng, Yuki, Amelia, and her four dogs.
The princess continued to float about. Her eyes focused up at the clouds and blue sky. Tears pricking at her eyes as her face remained blank. Her eyes focused up her heart yearning for something that will never return to her. Her sisters were gone, doing so something with the revolutionary's in the area. She would've gone with them, of her father hadn't specifically ordered her to stay out of it until her 'vacation' was over. The princess sighed as she turned to her stomach, and swam towards the docks, once she reached it she climbed up it.
Water dripping from her the princess slowly sat down at the edge of the dock. She sat, her dress draping over the edge and touching the water below her. She kicked her legs as she looked up at the sky. Staring, just staring up blankly, her head tilted. Unaware of the status that her beloved knight was currently. Unaware of the losing battle her sister fought, unaware of the growing target on her back. Unaware of the chaos that was to come. Unaware of the danger she was about to be in. Instead she sighed, looking up at the sky. She blinked as a light breeze appeared, allowing her hair to fly. Her head turned as Feng appeared, he opened his mouth, then she was running.

Princess Artemisia walked down the halls, it was a few days later. She no longer had a knight, Jeremiah was dead, her knight was gone. Her one confidant, the one person who's been with her since her whole world was destroyed, was now dead. Artemisia was now, officially, alone in this world. No one can shield her anymore. No one but she herself can be trusted. Now don't get Artemisia wrong. She loved Feng, Yuki, and Amelia with her whole heart. But she was not blind, she knew that though they cared for, possibly loved her, in return. They did not love her more than they hated her father, her people, Britannia. And in all honestly, the princess didn't blame them.
In fact, she thought that they were quite brave. To join the military knowing their family's may forever shun them. Just for the split chance of saving them, protecting them. It was part of the reason why she was going to do this. Reaching up the Third Princess threw open the doors to her sister's office. "I want Feng to be my new knight!" It went quiet. Artemisia stared at her sister. "If you refuse me then I will not take up a new knight." Her head rose higher. Eyes bearing into her sister. Who glared at her.
"There are plenty of Britannian men and woman more then willing to become your knight, why choose someone who isn't even a number yet." She glared.
"Because I know Feng." She took a step forward. "I trust him." She stared at him, the said man stood behind her, stiff as a board. Just staring at her. "He will never betray me." There was so much conviction in her voice, that Artemisia almost fooled herself. She glanced back, she was not blind. She knew the truth, knew that should his brother, his beloved twin, asked him to. Feng would deliver her to him. But, her heart, it wanted to belive in him. She may be foolish for this, but she was going to listen to her heart. "Because I know, he would much rather die than see me dead, as I would do the same."
"I would never allow you to die in my place my princess." The Third Princess ignored him, instead staring down the Second Princess.
"Very well then." She relaxed. Nodding to her sister, the Third Princess turned on her heel, and walked away.
"Thank you sister."
