Artemisia smiled, her hair flying in the wind. She wore simple black pants, a white blouse, and a dark brown corset around her waist as she rode her horse. A beautiful blue roan stallion by the name of Aeolus. He ran forward, and jumped over the fence. The princess laughed as her horses ran. She couldn't help her giggles as her dogs raced after her. She laughed as her horse ran, her hand shooting out. She ran past the crowd, jumping over them. Her hand clasping around Euphemia's as Aeolus jumped up and onto Suzaku's robotic hand. The third princess smiled as the second made her statement about the Japanese's zone. Right after that, Artemisia lightly kicked her horse, and he jumped. Running away from the crowd.
The sisters just laughed and giggled as the crowd and their knights chased after them. Smiling, the third princess looked back at the fourth. Grinning at the one last light in her life. The last thing tying this Artemisia, to the real one. "Cordelia is gonna have our hids." She joked, smiling at her beloved sister who just grinned.
"I am glade you are sticking with me!" Artemisia smiled.
"Always and forever Euphy." She smiled as her horse ran, one hand held the reins. While the other reached back and behind her, holding Euphemia in place. "You are my joy, my life." Her head turned and she smiled.

Artemisia sat in her seat, hands clasped tightly as she stared at the direction her sister went with Zero. 'Lelouch... if it's really you, then you won't hurt Euphy.' Her hand moved to her chairs arm. Relief flooded her, until Euphemia started to ack strange, she stared in shock. That's when a gun went off, Artemisia shot when Euphy shot the General. "Enough Euphy!" She stepped forward. But no one heard her, not as the soldiers started to obey Euphemia. So, Artemisia turned to her soldiers and knight. "I order you to help as many escape as possible!" They hesitated. "Now!" She shouted and they moved, the Princess moved, her dogs going to follow. "Stay put!" She ran, scooping up a child as she reached the exit her soldiers had created. All of them where ones she learned beside, she fought beside. "Keep my sister's soldiers at bay! Do not let them harm anyone else!" Turning she began to run through the stadium ridden with dead Japanese people. She ran directing men, woman, and children, directing them out.
As she did this, the princess also scooped up children to young to move in their win, to scared to move, or to shocked to move. Now, cradling a baby to her chest Artemisia was stopped by her sister. She stared at her sister. Turning to Amelia she placed the babe in her arms. "Go, run."
"My princess."
"Hurry." Turning the princess came face to face with Euphemia. "What is the meaning of this!" Her head dipped. "What is going on?"
"Oh, sister! Come help me kill these Japanese!" Her heart broke as the third princess closed her eyes.
"I see." She knew what was coming but didn't believe it.
"Euphy..."
"Well then." The Fourth Princess. Euphemia gave the Third Princess a kind, almost loving smile, as she raised her gun.
"My princess!"
"Do not! Feng! I command that you ensure the escape of the Japanese!" Her eyes were focused on her sister. Her heart and mind at war, she knew her intentions. "Euphemia would never harm me!"  She said it with such conviction, such convenience that Feng went to do her orders. That was until he heard Euphemia's reply.
"I'm sorry sister." She smiled as she pointed her gun at Artemisia. "But you're in my way." Her eyes widened as Euphemia fired, Feng screamed out, lunging towards her. Feng did not have time to reach her, didn't have time to grab her. Not as an echoing boom was heard, not as the Third Princess Artemisia fell backwards as the shot echoed, her back was about to hit the ground, when Feng caught her.
"No! My princess!" He scooped her up, tears welling up in his eyes. He ran, running past Japanese who moved aside for their savior. Feng ran past, trying to get her to safety.

A few hours later, the Third Princess of Britannia was running through the halls towards her sister's room. Blanket wrapped tightly around her naked form, her wound ached as she fell to her knees at the door to her sister's room. "Euphy." But the girl couldn't hear her.
"Suzaku, please... protect my sister... Missy will be—" Euphemia died before she could finish the sentence, Artemisia screamed as she lunged forward, her hands moving to her sisters head as the blanket fell limp, barely covering her. Her hands cradled her sister's face, and anger simmered under her chest. Zero, Zero did this. First he took away her beloved brother Clovis, then her beloved sister Euphemia. With tears streaming down her face, a scream ripping through her throat, she screamed her orders.
"Get me my Nightmare!" Her body shook with anger and grief as Artemisia broke. "Bring me my Eris! I command my Eris be brought to me!" Feng appeared then, wrapping the princess in her blanket.
"I fear I cannot, the emperor has it."
"I don't care!" She turned, her hands seizing her knights suit. "I want Zero's head!" She was shaking with grief. She went limp and cried. "No... no I don't..." she shook with grief and anger. "I just..." she shook. "I just..." she just wanted to be loved. "Take me back Feng." She shook, her heart breaking as she bleed. "I must... I must see this through to the end." With grief she looked up. "I must see it through..." Feng stared at his Princess's tear stained face, then his head dipped.
"As you wish, my Princess." He helped her stand, "but your wound..."
"I've had worse." She stood on shaky feet. "Take me back, I will see this through." She looked up, her face, her eyes, even her voice was void of emotion. But, her body gave out from under her.

The Third Princess of Britannia lay unconscious in a bed, her knight standing before her. Feng glared at the doctor. "What is wrong. If her wound is not what is making her sick then what is!?"
"Grief." He answered. Feng jerked back, shocked. "It is known that the royal family doesn't often show their emotions." The man looked up. "I theorize that as the Emperor's favorite, she wasn't allowed to show emotion or weakness. Meaning she hasn't been able to, nor have had the to,e or chance to properly grieve." The doctor looked up. "Meaning—" Feng leaned back against the glass case holding his princess, while Amelia and Yuki fell to their knees in shock.
"She's never mourned her losses..." he finished.
    "Not her mother..." Amelia added.
"Or her Brothers and sisters..." Yuki stated.
"Or Jeremiah." He finished once again, the doctor nodded before he continued to speak.
"Her grief all caught up to her at once. This was spurred into action by the shock of Princess Euphemia's death, the bullet wound, and her sister's betrayal." The doctor flinched as the three glared at him. "Anyways, all that gathered together has caused her highness to fall into shock. It also is the cause of her sickness."
"Will she ever get better?" The doctor looked at Yuki.
"Yes, she just needs time." Slowly, Feng turned now staring at his princess's face. Her makeup was whipped off, leaving her scarred face natural. A blanket rested over her chest covering her, but the scars littering her shoulders, collar, and neck were seen.
