Artemisia walked through the halls, she had had Clovis's manor rebuilt as Clovis had had it. She walked, her four knights, Jeremiah who was somehow still alive. She'd been so relieved when he awoke, along with her, and him, was Feng, Yuki, and Amelia. The two females have recently been knighted. Meanwhile... she was alone. Truth be told, she's changed. She hunted those knights that tore away the last of her joy. Yet still her people loved her, they understood why, because they took away her sister.
At the same time as her search for revenge, she defended and protected the people of Japan, for the actions of the few does not define the many. She came to a stop at the table. Humming a small tune, she sat down at the table in the gardens. Her legs clasped together and she leaned back in her seat. "It is a beautiful day is it not?" She asked no one in particular. Feng stood behind her, alone. "Feng." She spoke, spooking her knight. "Your brother..." he stiffened, her eyes closed. "Do you wish to see him before he leave for China?" It was quiet.
She knew the truth of why he was here. Knew he was but a spy for his brother, and yet still she welcomed him. She cared for him, loved him despite it all. Over the years, she's became quite attached to him. Truth be told. Artemisia glanced back at her knight. "No." He answered, she wondered why. "We got in a fight during my last visit." Artemisia looked back, frowning.
"I see, I'm sorry to hear that." She looked at him, smiling. Then she shot to her feet, seizing her knight by the arm. "Come, you are going to makeup with your brother." She dragged him away.
"What! But my princess, the tensions!"
"I don't care! I do as I wish!" She paused, her mind flashing to Lelouch, truth be told. She fought with him last time she saw him. He had wanted her to go with him to speak to father, she refused. She never saw him again.
    "But—"
"No buts!" She smiled at him. "I fought with my twin, I never saw him again after that... the last words I said to him was. 'Fine! Go! Don't come crying to me when father rejects you!' I never saw him again after that."
"What of the rumors of the Black Knights being there?"
"I don't care. I order you to speak to your brother." She stopped outside her doors, smiling at her knight. "I shall stay here, I fear my presence will make it harder for you two to speak."

Feng knocked on the door, his shoulders stiff. The door open and he stepped in. "Brother." He said, staring at the pale, long black haired, and dark brown eyes.
"Feng, so you've come to speak to me." He stared at him. "Have you changed your mind then? Shall you bring her to us as a bargaining chip?" He glared.
"I shall never betray Artemisia." Turning the man glared.
"So you weren't lying, you've truly fallen for that wench."
"Do not call her such things!" Feng stepped forward. "She is nothing like her family! All she wants is—" Li turned on his heel. His eyes focusing on his brother.
"You know what the Valkyrie Princess wants." Feng stepped back, glaring at his brother, then he stood straight.
"I am Artemisia's most trusted knight, second only to sir Jeremiah, I am also..." his heart broke as his head dipped. "Her only friend." He looked up, an idea hitting me. "Brother, I have a request." Li looked back. "I ask as your little brother." Li sighed, yes duty was important to him, but so was his brother.
    "What is it?"
"If I give you everything I know of Artemisia, will you help me save her from her father."
    "What do you mean?"
"The world is blind to it, everyone is blind to it." Feng dipped his head. "But Artemisia is just a tool to her father. She is his favorite yes, but not his favorite child." He looked up. "But his favorite tool. She's itching to him but a weapon, and the only way he can control her, is by giving her love. But she knew the truth the whole time." Li scowled. "She stayed because her loved ones, her joy, were there. Now they are all gone." Li stared at him, Feng closed his eyes. "All my Princess wants is love brother."
His eyes open. "All she wants is a family." Tears welled in his eyes. "How can she have such when all anyone sees her as is a weapon?" He looked down staring at the ground. "I'm not the only one to. Amelia and Yuki see it, yet they do not know, and Jeremiah suspects she's in pain, but doesn't know what to do." Li stared at him, then he sighed.
    "Brother—"
