"Mal!" I heard Uliana call my name as I looked up from my journal. "Pass me the mirror." She spoke. I rolled my eyes before turning to grab a mirror and passing it to her. "It's perfect, how much do you think it'll sell for in the ocean?" Uliana asked Hook who was playing with his hair as he shook his shoulders. "Don't know Uli, you're the fish here. I just catch you guys." Hook replied as I laughed. I forgot that Hook came from a line of pirates, he didn't speech much about his family unless it was about mermaids and how his grandfather caught 3 of them back in the days

"What's so funny Mal? What are you so busy on?" Uliana asked, turning to look at me as Hook and Morgie turned to meet my eye as well. "Just writing." I replied, dipping the pen in ink as I continued writing the spells I learned everyday. "That's your spell book right?" Morgie asked, walking over to sit next to me as I nodded. "Yep, today I learned how to open any set of doors." I answered as Uliana smirked. "That will definitely come to use, try it now." She spoke, raising her hand to the doors next to the corridor as I sighed. I hated doing what she told me to, but I was interested in my spells so why not.

"Make it easy, make it quick. Open up without a kick." I whispered, flinging my fingers at the doors as they swung open causing two students near the door to look at me and walk away. Hook and Morgie started laughing as I sat back down on the grass. "Why do you even write down your spell, you know them obviously. You create them." Hook asked.

"I don't know, just to leave history in magic I guess." I replied, shutting my book as I placed it in my bag. "Like passing it down to a museum?" Morgie asked as I shook my shoulders. "Maybe, but I doubt it. I don't think I want a museum to have my magic." I replied as he nodded. "Or you could always pass it to your kids." Hook proposed, raising his hand as I laughed. "I doubt I'll have kids, I don't care enough to even find a boyfriend." I snarked.

I didn't want to fall in love again, the only man who I loved had cut my wings to gain power. True love was a bullshit idea used for princes and princesses, it wasn't realistic at all. "I do, I'd love to continue my legacy, maybe I'd even pass them this." Hook proposed holding the hook on his arm as I laughed. "I'm sure they'd love it." I replied as he winked.

"Wait Uliana, what are we even doing here?" Morgie asked, standing up from the grass as she turned to look at us. "I told you guys, there's two new rich students. Maybe we can find something new to sell." She said, holding up the gold mirror as I rolled my eyes. What damage does stealing something do? I planned to get revenge on the guy who cut my wings off, but I won't do it just because I want to, the opportunity will come. "And how do we know they're coming?" I asked as she held up a watch from her pockets. "Lunch is in exactly 35 seconds, therefore the crowds will come in soon, and they'll probably wait here for a second." She replied as I scrunched my eyebrows.

"So we jump them?" Morgie asked as Hook laughed. "No we observe, then attack." Uliana spoke as Morgie nodded. I rolled my eyes as I played with the chains on my wrist. I couldn't wait to go my back to my dorm and continue writing my spells, I loved having my time alone. When Uliana invited me into her trio with Hook and Morgie, I agreed just because it's always better to be feared than ignored. At least with them, I was the girl who shouldn't be messed with, alone I was the weird girl in the corner with horns who could do magic.

"Right there." Uliana spoke, pointing to a corner as we looked up to follow her finger. There was a guy with blue hair in the corner, he had a leather jacket on with silver studs all over it with a dog chain around his neck. "What is he doing talking with Warina?" Hook asked, mentioning our history teacher who was writing down notes. "I don't know, but I wanna find out." Uliana spoke, turning around to look at us as she took a second to stare at each of us. "Mal." She mentioned my name as I shot my eyes up. "No." I rejected instantly. "Come on, I just want to hear what they're talking about." She begged as I shook my head. "If you do it, I'll get you those pens you were talking about earlier today." Uliana bribed. Fuck. I had seen these pens from art class earlier that I wanted to use for my book. "Fine, but I'm coming right back." I replied as she nodded.

Lucky for me, this guy was in the corner where a big tree was located in front of him. I could easily hide in front of I so he wouldn't see me eavesdropping. I walked across the yard, resting my back on the tree as I opened my spellbook to make it look like I was just reading. I rested my back on the tree and leaned my ear towards his voice to listen.

"So your father wants you both here for 2 semesters?" Wariana asked him. "Yes, I thought he told Merlin?" He asked back. "Nope, where's your brother?" She asked. "Probably making 50 friends a second." He replied. So these new students were siblings. "Okay, when you can contact your father. It's not every day we have future gods in the academy, we normally only have princesses or princes." She replied. "Don't you have witches?" He asked. "Yes, most of them just don't have their powers yet, they come here to learn about their powers. But you and Zeus already have powers which could hold danger here." She replied. "Okay well. I'll contact my father." He responded. "Thank you sir."

My mission was done. I got my balance back as I stepped off the tree. I began making my way towards Uliana when I tripped on a random rock in the grass. Shit, now I need to curse everyone here. But thank the lords, everyone was paying more attention to Charming's new skate trick. "Hey." I heard a male voice I recognized as I saw the boy with blue hair staring down at me. "Hi." I greeted, standing up to have eye to eye contact. "Were you by chance, listening in on a conversation a few seconds ago?" He asked. Shit he knew. "Not that I'm aware of why?" I asked as he smiled. "Oh, I just assumed that you came to listen in, after all you, you were perfectly comfortable in the grass with your friends over there." He spoke, pointing to the corner were Uliana, Morgie and Hook stood. Man I was busted. I didn't even know what to answer, he knew that I came to listen in.

"I believe this is yours?" He asked, holding up my book that I must've dropped when I slipped on the rock. "Yes it is." I spoke, grabbing my book as I placed it in my bag. "My names Hades, what about you?" He asked, staring at my eyes as I gulped. I hated interaction. "Maleficent." I replied as he nodded. "It's nice to meet you, and I'm sure it won't be the last time, you seemed very interested in my conversation." He spoke as I shook my head. "I didn't come here purposely, Uliana wanted me to come." I replied as he raised his eyebrows. "I don't know who that is, but if not I hope you enjoyed my conversation." He replied as I scuffed. There was a silence as he took a deep breathe before lookup around.

"Well I'll be seeing you Maleficent, next time join the conversation. I think we could get along." He spoke, walking away as I stood there in the courtyard for a second. What just happened. I made my way back to Uliana who had her hands up.

"What was he saying?" She asked as I stated at her. I had completely forgotten why I had went. "To what?" I asked as her eyebrows raised. "You went to eavesdrop." She replied as everything came back to my mind. "Oh yeah-" I whispered as I snapped back in for the 50th time as I tried to remember his conversation. "His father is very important and he has a brother in the school." I replied as Hook nodded his head.

"Oh and they both have powers." I replied remembering the mention of their powers. Ulianas eyes got bigger at the mention of powers as she took a second to stare at Hook and Morgie. I ignored whatever her facial expression meant as I sat back down on the grass and grabbed my book again. "What were you guys speaking about after?" Hook asked as I looked up at him. "Oh, he just asked me for my name." I replied, I didn't want to tell them that he knew I was eavesdropping, maybe it would cause an argument and I was too lazy to argue about anything right now. I grabbed my pen to continue writing on my journal, taking a second to look up as Hades walked to the doors. He caught me staring at him, giving me a grin to the left side of his face as I shook my head.
