I am writing this letter as my last. I spoke to your Mother and Father, they're worried. Hell, I am too even though I have realized our ending was set in stone a while back now.
But, I just wanted you to know since I was never man enough to verbally that I love you more than words can describe. Everyday we spent together from teens to adults you amazed me in unimaginable ways even when we drove each other absolutely insane. I realized over the years that have passed that I made a mistake. A lot of them and from the bottom of my heart I apologize for every last one of them.
You didn't want to lose me and I didn't care. Each night after you stopped showing up at my shows I would always come home to find you asleep on our couch with your hand gripping your phone and dried tears painting your cheeks.
I carried you to our bed those nights and every last one of them you would awaken in my arms just as I laid you in bed then hug me like it would be the last with tears ready to fall once more.
I was selfish and for that I reaped the consequences. I didn't want to accept it at first and when I did, I finally realized why you left me without a goodbye.
But, in my final goodbye I just wanted you to know even if I knew the day we met that you would be the reason my heart would shatter daily I would have still chose to love you anyway.
