Police! I'm too sweet to be arrested: SasuNaru

"You're being a little too rough today, don't you think so Uchiha?" The blonde said with a teasing smirk as the black haired police officer pushed him against the hood of the car. "But that's fine, I like it rough" he winked.

"Shut up" The police officer, one Sasuke Uchiha snarled in annoyance. This was the fifth time he arrested this blonde idiot this week. And the worst part was, by the end of it, he knows he'll end up just letting the guy go.

* A few hours earlier

In the bustling city of Konoha, where the lights never seemed to dim and the streets were always alive with energy, Sasuke was known as one of the most dedicated officers on the police force. With his sharp instincts, unwavering sense of justice, and a gaze that could make even the most hardened criminals think twice, Sasuke was a force to be reckoned with.

However, there was one thorn in his side that no amount of training or discipline could prepare him for: Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto was infamous in his own right, but not for the reasons most criminals were. Instead of dealing in dangerous activities like drugs or organized crime, Naruto had a penchant for robbing small stores--particularly candy shops and toy stores.

He wasn't interested in money or valuables, no, all he wanted were the candies, chocolates, and an occasional plush toy or action figure.

This odd obsession made him more of a nuisance than a threat, and because he never harmed anyone during his heists, the law could only go so far as to give him a warning or a brief detention.

Much to Sasuke's immense irritation

But there was something else about the blonde that Sasuke found infinitely more irritating: his RELENTLESS flirting.

It had all started a few months ago when Sasuke had first been dispatched to deal with a string of candy store robberies. The reports had seemed almost LAUGHABLE at first--a grown man making off with bags of sweets--but Sasuke had treated the case with the same seriousness as any other.

When he had finally cornered Naruto in the back of a small toy store, he had expected a chase or a fight, not the over-the-top, flirtatious smile that had been thrown his way.

"Well, well, if it isn't Officer Sasuke," Naruto had said with a playful lilt in his voice. "Come to catch me in the act, have you? You know, I was hoping it would be you."

From that day on, every encounter with Naruto had followed the same pattern. No matter how many times Sasuke warned him, no matter how sternly he spoke, Naruto would always find a way to turn the situation into some sort of game. He would flirt outrageously, throw out innuendos, and even attempt to close the distance between them with a level of audacity that left Sasuke fuming.

Once, the blonde had even tried to kiss him--an incident that had nearly resulted in Sasuke throwing a punch, only to be held back by the knowledge that Naruto would likely just enjoy that too.

He started getting teased at the police precinct by his co-workers as well, much to his embarrassment, about Naruto's infatuation to him.

"One of these days you're gonna end up shacking up with him!"

"Guy's not even that bad, all he does is rob candy stores, and he doesn't even take money he just wants the candy!"

"He's too sweet for you to arrest eh Uchiha? Hahahaha!"

It was infuriating

Today was no different. The young police officer had received the call while on patrol--a candy store near the park had been hit again, and the description of the culprit had been all too familiar. "Not him again!" He groaned in his mind dreading the upcoming interaction.
