Meet the parents: Sasunaru

Black eyes showed no nervousness, no weariness, just casual, cool calm. Minato glared harshly at his only son's new beau, while Kushina kept smiling gently, her finger tapping the table.

Naruto shifted in his seat uncomfortable, wanting to break the silence so much but not knowing what to say.

"So" Kushina was the one, thankfully, to break the ice. "Sasuke Uchiha was it?"

"That's my name" Sasuke said bluntly. Naruto pinched his side causing Sasuke to wince just a bit.

"Naruto failed to mention how handsome you are" Kushina said with a smile. "You must be a hit with women" Minato muttered. "Probably stringing them along and then discarding them afterwards"

Sasuke's eyes turned from calm to icy. Kushina pinched the back of Minato's neck. "Owe! Hey!" He turned to his wife, who gave him a 'don't be like this' look.

"I'm his first relationship " Naruto said firmly.

"Oh, did HE tell you that?" Minato raised a brow. Naruto's jaw tightened, and Sasuke could tell he was grinding his teeth. He knew how overprotective his boyfriend's father can be, overbearing even. Naruto loves his parents but sometimes, one of them, Minato obviously, can be a bit too much.

"So! Um!" Kushina cleared her throat, "Sasuke! Honey, how did you two meet?" She asked, turning the attention on her. Minato cringed at the sweetness Kushina was giving to the bastard that was stealing their son away.

Naruto answered "We met when I was walking to class on our first day of school"

"I was the school delinquent, I tripped him while he was walking by" Sasuke said with a smirk. Naruto kicked him under the table, causing Sasuke to groan in pain.

Kushina's eyes widened and Minato scowled. "Why would you do such a thing?" She asked.

"I thought he looked stupid with that happy go lucky smile and those orange glasses of his" Sasuke answered, nursing his hurting shin.

Kushina and Minato began internally judging him.

"But then the next thing I know, he was glaring at me so harshly it wouls have been enough to set me on fire, two seconds later he was on his feet, pulled out a taser, and tased me in the gut" he chuckled. "Taught me a lesson that day, I immediately became interested in the cute nerd who beat me up"

Naruto found himself smiling fondly as he recalled the memory.

Kushina giggled. Minato didn't look so impressed. "I can't believe our son is dating a delinquent"

"FORMER delinquent, sir. Your son here, for every screw up I made, either with my grades or ass of a personality, would beat me up to teach me a lesson. Eventually...well, I don't know, I guess I got fed up with being beaten by him, a nerd who was smaller than me, that I decided to...change" hearing this, Minato perked up, interested.

"How so?" He inquired.

"I didn't want Naruto to just see me as the school delinquent, nothing but trouble, so I asked him to tutor me. Pretty soon we started meeting up to study together, and then it led to hanging out in between and after classes, then outside of school, I put my delinquency behind me but I still wouldn't hesitate to beat someone up if that person were to harm Naruto, even though I know...from personal experience, that he can take care of himself" Sasuke smirked when he saw the slight nod Minato gave him.

"Awwe! How sweet!" Kushina cooed leaning to Minato's arm.

"And..how are your grades holding up?" Minato brought up.

"They're ok"

"He still needs me to pass our classes, this idiot won't graduate without me" Naruto said rolling his eyes, an amused smirk on his lips.

"Hey!" Sasuke cried, offended.

Minato tried hard not to smile, but he found his lips curling upwards. His wife giggled at the two young couple's exchange.

"Naru's a real spitfire, you should see him take down the assholes from school, either with a tongue lashing or with that taser of his" Sasuke pretended to look thoughtful. "Wonder where he got his spunk from"

"Must have been from me!" Minato said proudly. "No, definitely from me" Kushina retorted with a smirk. She then turned to Sasuke. "So dear, will you be staying the night?"

Minato's eyes widened. "Now wait a minute-!"

"It's fine, I didn't tell my parents I'd be staying out late, I don't want them to worry" Sasuke declined. "Anyway, I should get going, It was nice meeting you Mr and Mrs. Uzumaki"

"I'll walk you out" Naruto said, throwing his parents one last glance before following his boyfriend out the door.

Once outside, Naruto gave a sigh of relief. "I didn't actually think we'd survive that" he said.

"I think your mom likes me, your dad meanwhile.." Sasuke trailed off. Naruto groaned and kicked a pebble. "He's so annoying! I swear his overprotectiveness is grating! I appreciate it, but sometimes he's just...just overreacting! And the way he was glaring at you the whole time?!"

Sasuke chuckled. "Well, I think he mellowed out in the end. No one can resist the Uchiha charm" he smirked at his boyfriend. "Especially not foxy blondes" he kissed Naruto deeply.

"HEY! GET YOUR MOUTH OFF MY SON!" Yelled Minato from the window, causing the young lovebirds to pull apart in shock.

"MINATO! LEAVE THEM ALONE FOR GOD'S SAKE!" Kushina yelled from somewhere in the house.

"Gosh darn it dad!" Naruto groaned.

Sasuke just found himself laughing, before running away as soon as Minato stepped out the door.
