Chapter 13

"Sir..."

"Sir, please open your eyes." Ian felt a lump in his throat at he stared at Jaden who wasn't breathing lying on the floor.

His hands trembled as he took his phone to call the emergency number. "H-hello?..."

"211, what's your emergency?"

Ian more panicked, his voice shaky, "huhhh,um I w-woke up this morning to find my-huh my employer on the flo- Ah!"

Ian was startled when a hand grabbed his wrist, his body went cold as he locked eyes with Jaden. Fear creeped out of his heart when  he met Jaden's cold and Indifferent gaze.

He accidentally hung up the call in the process,his heart thudded in his chest and his phone fell from his hand. He whimpered as he struggled to get his wrist out of Jaden's grip.

He didn't know why but since Jaden opened his eyes he had a feeling that creeped up to his heart, he felt like this was not the Jaden he saw yesterday, it was like he was a different person now.

Jaden's eyes were as black as ink and sinister and the look he had was engrained deep into Ian's bones.

The feeling of fear in his heart felt like a kitten scratching his heart with it's sharp paws.

Jaden tilted his head and stared at Ian for a long time before he suddenly let go of him, "what's wrong?" He asked.

However, his questions were not as answered as Ian suddenly stood up and ran away in fear. Jaden was stunned as he sat up, he then looked over at Ian's phone on the floor.

He picked it up as he stood up, he struggled to stand still as memories of last night came rushing back to his mind.

"Good morning human!." He heard a  very cheerful voice in his head, his eyebrows twitched as he knew what happened.

Yesterday, after he had checked that everyone was asleep he heard drip sounds coming from the kitchen. However, as he entered the dark kitchen, the dripping sounds stopped. He looked around the large kitchen in suspicion but when he looked down he found out that his hands were glowing.

He could see the glowing veins in his pale arms and hands, it was like something was flowing through his veins from his palms all the way to his chest hidden inside his shirt.

He felt lightheaded and felt like he was going to explode, it was like something wanted to burst out of his chest.

Just as he thought it was a normal thing for a supernatural, the lights flowed from his chest back to his palms and the lights shot form the tips of his fingers.

"Hehe, I'm back!" Jaden heard as he felt something powerful leave his body, something came flying back towards him at an astonishing speed, he bent down and pressed his hands against his ears as it felt tingly.

After a few seconds the world seemed to have stilled and there was eerie silence throughout the kitchen.

"Hehe, our human seemed to be scared of us after years of being locked up. is this how you welcome us?, Tsk." He clearly heard the voice from before.

"If you don't speak no one will treat you as a mute.With that grand entrance, no human would be in their right mind." Another voice came out it was calm and it sounded lazy. Jaden slowly removed his hands from his ears and stood up, his gaze was met with a translucent and barely visible wispy life-like shapes of two animals, a gray wolf and a golden brown bat.

The gray wolf ranged in color from pure white to solid black, it's guard hairs are black and white. It didn't have a full body as the remaining part of his body were wispy. The bat on the other hand, was really not a bat. It was a type of animal with a bat wing but a completely different appearance, strong power emanated from it's body.

"Human, we are back. We are so sorry for the delay." The wolf spirit floated towards him with excitement in it's eyes.

Jaden seemed to have made a decision in his mind, "I'm not your human."

The wolf spirit paused, it turned to look at the bat-like spirit and turned back to Jaden, "Then..."

"He's dead." The bat-like spirit suddenly spoke out, soon there was a sudden silence.

"We're late..." The bat-like creature solemnly said. Of course they knew that their human wouldn't survive in the supernatural world without it's guardian being, although there was no hope, they still had a glimpse of hope but now, it was all for nothing.

" Then...who are you?" They looked at him with murderous aura. Jaden paused his lips and slowly opened his mouth explain what happened.

Their expression was slightly calm after a few minutes. "Hmph, no matter what, as long as you're in our  human's body you are ours. Our human." The wolf suddenly declared, Jaden suddenly felt a gust wind beside his ear, he tried to move but he couldn't, there was something piercing his shoulder.

Just as he was about to make a move, something sharp suddenly pierced his neck, he felt drained up and suddenly fell with a loud thud.

He stayed unconscious before Ian found him and it led to this.

"Um." He scratched his head in irritation as he coldly threw the phone on a counter. He went back to the masters bedroom.

It had been a week at this new house now and it was going definitely going great for Ian but what just happened scared him to the core, he was an omega and Omegas get easily frightened from scares like that.

He hid under a shelf in the walk in closet of his room,he hugged his knees close to his chest as he cried, his heart was high in his throat.

After, a few minutes he calmed down and took a few breaths in and out.

He shut his eyes and sighed. No matter what he shouldn't cry like this, as long as that teenager was okay, what does that have to do with him. He silently reassured himself that there was no need to be scared and he shouldn't be a coward.

He stood up and dusted the invisible dust on his clothes, he went into the bathroom naturally.

Immediately Jaden saw the family XL bed in the masters bedroom, he became drowsy,dizzy and weak. He reluctantly walked up to it  and as soon as he was at close range without warning he collapsed on the bed.

Sleep instantly took over.
