Chapter 18

"Have you ever thought of what names to give them?" Ian asked Jaden as he watched the over-energetic five month olds crawl around the living room.

"Hmmm?" Jaden looked up from his laptop quite confused.

"I've been thinking- I don't know if it's okay for me to give your children names but I just thought of some suggestions that I would like to share..."

Jaden slightly nods "Go on."

"How about Jester for the first , Phoenix for the second,uhmm... Midas for the third and... Axel for the sick little one. " Ian clapped his hands and looked at Jaden who sat on the countertop stools, his eyes sparkling like stars as he gave a  suggestion.

" Hmm." Hearing Jaden's plain response, Ian pouted feeling a hint of pity for the children.

He internally glared at Jaden as he picked up Axel. "Or...we can change the names whenever you want..."

Jaden's body stiffened then he looked up at Ian, " Their names are fine."

"Okay then!" Axel started whimpering then dailed up the volume of his cries, listening to his starved cry Ian went went to prepare formula for them.

Jaden's mind absorbed all the information he had just read like a sponge. Adair had just read about Jaden's high school for a while and felt that he had understood quite a lot. After a while he entered into the school portal, paid for the new session under his name and logged out.

Jaden shut the laptop and cracked his knuckles. He felt a little weight on one of this legs, looking at the direction he was met with a pair of beautiful small black doe eyes staring straight at him. The baby blinked his watery eyes and smiled showing his two buttom front teeth.

"Mama!" His childish voice rang out as he stretched his little arms out for Jaden to pick him up.

Jaden didn't move "It's father."

Jester looked confused, he put his arms down and tilted his small head . He giggled and hugged Jaden's leg again.

"Mama!" He giggled.

Jaden grits his teeth, "I can understand that you can't pronounce the word but call me father first then I'll pick you up."

Ian walked in on Jaden's words, he stopped in his tracks and stared at the father and son. Jaden's eyes were coldly and he had a machine-like aura around him while, Jester's face was scrunched up and his eyes were so wet that tears could fall if he blinked.

Ian quickly placed Axel on an high chair and walked over to them, he squatted behind Jester and gently tried to pull him from Jaden.

"Come on baby, let go..." He whispered to Jester who didn't budge. Ian held his little hands and pulled them away from Jaden, hugging Jester whose cries sounded so pitiful.

Jaden took his things and went upstairs to his room. Ian picked-up Jester, pats and rubs his back to soothe him.

Jaden locked the door of his bedroom and sighed as he held his head. His vision blurred and his head was spinning badly, his temperature went down.

He panicked. "Ugh!" His body weakened and he fell on the tiled floor hitting his shoulder hard.

His erratic breathing slowed down when he opened his eyes he found himself surrounded by familiar surroundings.

Trees.

He stood up holding his dizzy head, his breathing was heavy for a while.

"What is wrong with me? Xin? Cato..." His calls went in vain.
