"Excuse me?" Dan says, pushing Phil away. "Ruby! I thought you were my guardian angel?"

"Dan, you said she ruined everything. You should be happy she isn't your guardian angel." Phil seems to be amazed by things that probably shouldn't really exist, and if Dan doesn't want Ruby as his guardian angel, Phil sure wanted her as his. How cool wouldn't that be?

"Phil keep yourself out of this." Phil gets pushed away by Dan again. Phil thinks quietly about all the bad things Dan said about Ruby, while Phil thinks she's nice. Dan has only talked about how he wants her to leave, but now that she's going to, he suddenly has a grudge against it.

"I never said I was your guardian angel." Says Ruby casually, while her long hair blows in all directions, due to the windy weather.

Dan keeps trying to make her admit it, even though she only ever said that she was a guardian angel and not whose. "But you meant it!"

Ruby sighs, as if she's deeply annoyed, and says "No I didn't."

"Then why did you come to me, and not Phil?!" Dan starts to question the meaning of his sexuality, as no girl seems to have any interest in him. Only two girls, who happen to use Dan to get to Phil instead.

"Listen Dan, I've already visited Phil before I visited you, but I realised he wasn't able to see me. I needed to give him the glasses somehow, and I came across you. Phil needs me, bad things will happen soon." As much as Dan is happy for his best friend getting his own guardian angel, he can't seem to brush away the jealousy in his veins.

"Bad things", Dan mimics in a mocking tone.

Phil feels raindrops landing on his face. He looks up to see big, grey clouds forming.

"Ah, so now you made it rain. Great!" Dan shouts sarcastically at Ruby, staring deep into her green eyes.

Phil wants to say she can do that too? That's amazing! But he stops himself, seeing as it isn't the best moment to interrupt their conversation.

"I didn't!" Ruby insists, and the rain falls harder onto the ground.

"Then who did? God?" Sometimes Phil wishes he'd be able to make Dan stop his sarcastic comments, but as much as Dan would like to stop, which he probably doesn't, he wouldn't be able to get out of his habit.

"No! My feelings did... I am angry, mad, and tired!"

Dan senses that his reply will be awkward, even though it's not meant to be.
"And I'm wet!" A couple of Laura's friends walks by, and they instantly start to laugh. Phil sees the phone in one of Laura's friends' hands.

"Um, Dan?" Phil asks softly, poking Dan's shoulder.

"Not now, Phil!" Dan is beyond annoyed, and he is going to be even more, when Phil tells him about what Laura and her clique has done.

"I think they recorded you." Dans eyes enlarges, but he doesn't seem to care much about that.

"Fine! Be Phil's guarding and not mine, I don't care! Don't ever come to me, or talk to me! Oh wait right, you didn't intend to!" Dan's mocking tone tore right through both Phil's, and Ruby's heart. They didn't want him to be this sad, and upset about the whole thing, but he was, and neither of them had any idea of how to make him glad again.

Dan walks away, trampling with his feet in some water puddles, making the dirty, muddy water splash onto him, and his black skinny jeans, and black hoodie.

Phil is aware that Dan is sad. Not because of the girls recording him, that didn't matter.
He was sad, and frustrated about Ruby leaving him for Phil, like Laura did, even though in the end, Dan realised how much of a brat she was.
