CHAPTER 4:: Minho's Ex Did What??

"Hi, I'm Jeongin".

I awkwardly shook my hand with him and nodded. "I'm..jisung."

"I know who you are! Actually, I saw you in the fanbase two days ago."

"y-you did? Oh-"  great. I'm even more embarrassed now, bet they were making fun of me.

He suddenly pulled my hand to there and made me stand beside Minho. I didn't make any eye contact and awkwardly just stood there looking at the ground. I could see hyunjin rolling his eyes at me and the other blonde boy holding his laughter. I felt so small, I wish the ground would just open and swallow me right now.

There was an awkward silence before Jeongin cleared his throat. "Uhm- you must know Minho already, so this is hyunjin" He pointed at the taller guy, I already knew hyunjin though. Hyunjin just mumbled a little "hi."
"and this is Felix!" He pointed to the blonde guy, Felix, waved at me a little and smiled. So after these days he's now nice and smiley all of a sudden? Well at least Jeongin and Felix is a bit nice, i hope so.

jeongin pulled me to a corner and mumbled quietly so only I could hear.

"I'm sorry about Minho hyung, he always keeps his cold facade but I promise he's not as mean as he seems! He's actually really warm and sweet once you get to know him! So please don't mind.."

"Ah no no- I don't mind, at all!.."  Minho, warm and sweet? Minho?! I'm now more curious, what's behind those cold eyes?

Jeongin seemed to notice how I was lost in thoughts, drowned in curiosity. So he chuckled and spoke.
"I see you look curious hm? Do you wanna know more about him?"

The way he said it like I was interested in Minho made me blush. "Um..if you don't mind sharing.." I awkwardly said, gosh I feel like I'm embarrassing myself more and more.-

"Well, you seem kind and trustworthy so.."

I was a bit taken aback, didn't expect him to trust me that easily, well it's not like I'd intentionally break their trust. I'm not that bad. I noticed how Jeongin's smile suddenly dropped, and I couldn't help but feel like I was responsible for it, so I looked down and stayed quiet.

"you see, Minho hyung wasn't always like this before, he was open and vulnerable to everyone, when he was a kid, he lost his father. Then he grew up with his single mother and older sister, haeryeon-ssi, she's away because she lives in America for her studies. Minho only had his mother, he loved her a lot. Okay- I'll just get to the point-, ...so Minho had this girlfriend, they dated for two years and I could swear Minho loved and trusted her with all his life, Guess what? That bitch cheated on him once but then Minho forgave her and continued their relationship, his girlfriend was really cruel like- she once came to his house because Minho invited her over so, me and Felix hyung were there too because of a school project, and guess what?? She made Minho pass out for a while somehow and had sex with his unconscious body."

My eyes widen, she had...what ?! And unconscious? I'm getting super second hand embarrassment from that girl. Having sex without the other's allowance..is legit illegal, I hope Minho is okay.

"Oh I haven't finished yet, there's more. So that girl poisoned his mother, I feel so bad saying this already. She poisoned Minho's mother to death. The only person Minho had in his life, if you wonder where she is now, she ran away. We still haven't found her yet, God if you saw how bad Minho cried for his mother,..he cried in hyunjin's shoulder for hours! So ever since that day he gave up and was emotionless for days, he didn't eat, drink, sleep or take care of himself properly. That's how he's so hard and cold now, he doesn't trust anyone, except us, his friend group."

I swear my jaw dropped. I was trying to process all the things I heard from jeongin, about Minho. I can't believe this..was Minho's ex-girlfriend a monster or something?! Losing both parents like that..must be really painful for Minho, and even getting betrayed twice. I didn't imagine it to be that bad, I feel so bad for him right now.., I feel a mix of anger and hatred towards whoever Minho's ex girlfriend was. I glance back at the three others, how Minho's expression was still unreadable. 'cried in hyunjin's shoulder for hours' I just can't imagine him all broken behind those cold eyes.. I barely knew him, but my heart ached for him.

"Uhh..what's his ex girlfriend's name..?" I spoke up.

"Oh? Her name's..Risae. An Risae."
