130. The Rest Is Still Unwritten

Sloane smiled as she looked between her younger cousins and the large group of friends gathered around her.

"Alright," she laughed. "Since you've already met Draco, I suppose it's only fair that you meet everyone else."

The three children nodded enthusiastically.

Thailia was still happily sitting on Sloane's hip, one tiny hand wrapped around a strand of her cousin's hair while the other pointed curiously at everyone standing nearby.

Sloane gestured towards the black-haired boy standing closest. "This is Harry."

Harry smiled warmly before crouching down so he wasn't towering over the children. "Hello."

Zenaida peeked shyly around her father's leg, still refusing to step fully into the open.

Kovu, however, stepped confidently forward. "The Harry Potter?"

Harry rubbed the back of his neck. "...Unfortunately."

Ron burst out laughing. "What do you mean unfortunately?"

Harry sighed dramatically. "Because every child asks the same question."

Kovu's eyes grew wider. "You fought You-Know-Who!"

"I did."

"You won!"

"I had quite a lot of help."

Kovu folded his arms. "Dad says you're humble."

Harry smiled. "Your dad sounds very sensible."

"He isn't."

Everyone laughed.

Sloane smiled before gesturing towards Hermione. "And this is Hermione."

Hermione bent down beside Harry. "It's lovely to meet all of you."

Thailia frowned thoughtfully.

"You pretty."

Hermione blinked. "Thank you."

"You hair fluffy."

Ron snorted.

Hermione slowly looked towards him. "What?"

He held up both hands. "I didn't say anything."

"You thought it."

"I absolutely did."

Hermione rolled her eyes affectionately.

Next, Sloane pointed towards the tall redhead.

"And this..."

She grinned.

"...is Ron."

Ron immediately puffed out his chest dramatically. "The funniest member of the group."

Ginny burst out laughing. "No."

"The tallest?"

"No."

"The hungriest?" Blaise offered.

"...Yes."

Ron looked offended. "I have other qualities."

"You certainly do," Hermione smiled.

"Like?"

She thought for a second. "...You're very good at eating."

The entire group laughed.

Kovu looked impressed. "How much can you eat?"

Ron looked thoughtful. "Honestly?"
