The idea consumed Sloane's thoughts for the rest of the day.

Every counselling session. Every conversation. Every student that sat across from her. Every cup of tea. Every single minute.

She nodded at people when they spoke. She took notes. She smiled. She listened.

But the entire time her brain was screaming:

This could actually work.

By the time her final session ended, she practically launched herself out of her chair. Her notes were shoved into folders. Folders were shoved into drawers. Drawers were slammed shut. Her bag was thrown over her shoulder. The office door was locked.

And then she practically sprinted into the corridor.

She needed to find Draco.

Immediately.

She was halfway down the corridor when she heard a familiar voice behind her.

"Hello there, gorgeous."

A grin immediately spread across her face. She didn't stop.

"Are you heading my wa—"

Draco never got to finish.

Sloane spun around. Grabbed a fistful of his shirt. And dragged him down the corridor.

"Bloody hell!" He chuckled but fully allowed himself to be dragged.

"Come on." She said not stopping.

"What is happening?"

"Walk faster."

"I am walking!" Draco protested although he was smiling.

"You are not."

"I have very long legs!"

"Walk faster with them."

Draco was laughing now. Completely bewildered.

Students jumped out of their way as Sloane marched through the castle. Dragging a confused Draco Malfoy behind her.

"What did I do?" Draco was now worried for his safety. NOt really but he couldn't read Sloane's emotions as they were working in overdrive so he had no idea if she was happy or angry.

"Nothing."

"Are you sure?" He asked warily.

Sloane was too excited to even laugh. "Yes."

Now he was trying to think. fast. "Have I forgotten something important?"

"No."

"Is someone dying?"

"No."

"Getting married?" He asked almost jokingly.

Sloane froze. Draco nearly walked straight into her. His eyes narrowed immediately. "Oh no."

"What?"

"You've got that face." He smirked.

"What face?"

"The face."

Sloane immediately started walking again. Draco followed. Now even more suspicious.

Five minutes later they reached the dormitory.

Sloane practically kicked her bedroom door open. Pulled Draco inside. And slammed it shut behind them.

Draco stared. Then slowly smiled. "I have absolutely no idea what is going on." He stepped closer. "But I am enjoying it."
