When he realizes he likes her?
💚Yuno has always been somewhat attracted to Mimosa but was comfortable just being friends, especially after he learned that she had a crush on Asta. His feelings grew over the years they spent together but remained unrequited until she eventually got rejected by Asta. He and Mimosa start hanging out more in groups and as friends and he realizes that she's developing a crush on him when they move to the Spade Kingdom. He does not act on her or his feelings cuz he doesn't want to be treated like a rebound after she moves on from Asta. Yuno also has to be wary of how Belle would react if you were to start dating someone.
When she realizes she likes him?
🧡Mimosa develops a crush on Yuno after he saves her from a crazy ex and they start hanging out as friends. She doesn't want her crush to become like an obsession like her crush on Asta was like. She has to consciously slow down and think things through and try to just be friends with Yuno until she feels she's completely over Asta. Living in the Spade Kingdom only causes her feelings to go deeper and fonder.
How did they confess to each other?
🧡💚Mimosa is ultimately the one who confesses her feelings to Yuno when they are 19. Though he already knew because she was super obvious. She is also the one who asks him out. But Yuno is the one to ask her to be exclusively his girlfriend after they've been dating for a few months.
How does dating go for them?
💚🧡They take dating slowly. Mimosa is extremely supportive of Yuno as he learns more about his homeland and grapples with whether or not he wants to become king or return to the Clover Kingdom. Despite not making a choice yet, it is hard for Yuno to know that the fate of an entire country rests on his shoulders despite not technically being their prince. Mimosa supports him and becomes a great source of comfort and trust. While in the Spade Kingdom, they move in together and Mimosa supports Yuno's decision when he eventually decides to stay and become king.
What are their favorite things to do together?
💚Yuno enjoys walking around the kingdom and interacting with his people with Mimosa. His next favorite thing is to have sex with her.
🧡Mimosa likes spending time with his people and with his family. She had fun physically rebuilding the kingdom and helping him and his mom grow closer together while they worked together to rebuild the structures and politics of their kingdom.
When do they say I love you to each other?
💚🧡Yuno says he loves Mimosa when he asks her to become his girlfriend. She says I love you back when she says yes.
How do they deal with conflicts?
💚🧡The two disagreed on politics and their future. They received help from Yuno's mother and some of the other people they had grown close to in Spade Kingdom. They learned to talk things out calmly and professionally whenever they had trouble making big decisions about their lives and futures. They would always talk to people they trusted for advice and would make pros and cons list if they really needed to.
Do their families approve? If not, how do the family's opinions change?
💚Mimosa's parents also approve of their relationship but are concerned about how long the relationship could last if Yuno were to take the throne. They were more realistic about the politics of having a member of the royal family marry into the royal family of another kingdom than the kids were. However, they do accept him as family and become quite close to Ciel. The Vermillion family always supported them.
🧡Ciel(Yuno's mom) really likes Mimosa. She thinks that she will be a good ruler and queen of their Kingdom after she steps down. She, however, doesn't force them into a relationship or into making the relationship official. She also respects if neither one of them wants to be the ruler and if they break up. She was not that happy to learn that Yuno and Mimosa were having sex before they got married.
Do they break up?
💚🧡 They break up once. They are forced to break up when Yuno decides to become king of the Spade Kingdom and Mimosa is called back to the Clover kingdom. Their families do approve of the two of them together, but because Mimosa and Yuno are royals from other kingdoms, their kingdoms need things like treaties and alliances to be formed if they desire to continue the relationship. Once all the politics were settled Yuno proposed to Mimosa and they are together until they die.
When do they start talking about getting married? When do they realize their partner is who they are meant to marry?
💚🧡Yuno and Mimosa never really talk about marriage but their parents do. It is not until Yuno agrees to become King of the Spade Kingdom, formally leaves the Golden Dawn, and Mimosa and he are forced to break up that he realizes that he doesn't want to be king if Mimosa can't be his Queen. Mimosa had been fantasizing about marrying Yuno for years but never brought it up because of all the politics that would go into their marriage and just figured that it wouldn't happen or it would take years for all the politics to allow them to wed.
When/how do they get engaged?
💚🧡After the politics get set aside and they're able to continue their relationship after being apart, Yuno travels from the Spade Kingdom to the Clover Kingdom and immediately proposes to Mimosa the moment they are reunited. She of course accepts without hesitation. The two visit all their friends and relatives and pack to move officially and permanently back to the Spade Kingdom.
Do they actually get married?
💚🧡 Yes. They get married 2 months after they get engaged.
Do they have kids? How many?
💚🧡 Three. One boy and 2 girls.
Are they good parents?
💚🧡 Yes they are good parents and the parents are all very involved grandparents.
