𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲?

After me and Kurt talked for a while I decided to see what we were doing.

I walked back to the front of the jet.

I run into Jean on my way to the front.

"Hey."

"Hey, what's happening?" I ask

"We can't get a signal from anyone back home."

"Really, oh my god that's s-" Before I could finish my sentence I got lightheaded.

Like a rush of random pain.

Flashes of people in black holding guns, shooting at me

I start to stumble.

"Woah, Abigail you alright" she says holding me up

I come back to normal

"I'm so sorry I-"

"Abigail, what just happened?" Jean asks

"I uhm- "

Maybe I should just tell her.

"I've been having pretty bad nightmares and now flashes of scary things are popping into my head" 

"Abigail, how long has this been happening?" Jean asks

"Forever. My powers have sort of a backfire where whoever I use it on, the pain they have or trauma they've gone through will stay with me and drain me of energy. It normally doesn't do it for long."

"Why wouldn't you tell me, I could've helped you."

"I'm sorry I've never told you. I just didn't want you to worry about another thing."

"Abigail, I get bad nightmares almost every night. I can help you."

"I just."

I pause breathing out

"I will from now on, I promise."

I put my pinky out like I'm 5.

She takes my pinky and wraps it around her pinky.

"Guys, I found an active com device," Storm says

"Where?" Jean asks

"I'll call it."

It rings a few times before someone picks up.

It's Logan.

"No one's left storm"

Is what we hear him say as we approach the control center

"Soldiers came."

Just like the vision I just had.

"What about the children?" I ask

"Some of them escaped. I'm not sure about the rest."

I can feel my stomach drop.

Those poor children, I can't even imagine.

"We haven't been able to reach the professor or Scott," Jean says

"Where are you, Logan?" Storm asks

"Boston, with Bobby Drake's family."

"Is Rouge okay?" I blurt out, panicking

"Yes, Rouge is here and safe."

I let out a breath of relief

Logan pauses letting out an annoyed breath.

"So is your little boyfriend."

Steve?

"What" Jean says looking at me
