After all the testing is done I walk out of the Lab.

Or should I say we? 

Logan follows me around after me like he's my bodyguard or some shit. 

When I finally arrive at my bedroom door I unlock it.

"You gonna follow me in here too?"

I don't turn around to look at him before continuing. 

"or is that too much?" I say with a pouted lip making fun of him.

"Well, I was told to watch you so..?"

"Yes, you were."

I roll my eyes. 

"You're safe with me, Abigail."

He is defending himself for being here.

We have to talk about what happened at some
point.

"So why'd you leave?"

I looked up at him from my bed.

His face saddens me as he looks at me from my desk. 

"You know I didn't want to leave, hell I told myself I was never gonna leave you again."

He says pausing to look down at his hands. 

What does he mean by that?

"But then you woke up and everything clicked in my head."

I look at him confused

"Abigail, Stryker only took you because he saw me kiss "you" in the woods"

He does finger quotes when he says you.

"We never kissed in the woods," I say looking at him confused

"It was mystique dressed up as you, that's who I kissed," He says

Now all the pieces are clicking in my brain that's why every time Logan was around Steve would try to talk me up.

"When Stryker said that I kicked myself for ever thinking anyone I care about is safe."

He looks back down at his hands.

I go to say something but I'm speechless.

"And seeing you scream at me like that. I took that as my way out. To not get you hurt again."

He is looking at me with such intense eyes.

"Logan," I say getting up off the bed and walking toward him

I grab his face as I sit on the edge of my bed.

"What he did to me, what he did to my body. Has no blame on you at all." I say making him look at me before dropping his face

"Stryker's actions do not determine how you build relationships," I say to him pausing before continuing

"I know these past few days I haven't shown it very much but I care about you too," I say letting out a little chuckle as I do

"I can't avoid the thoughts I'm having when I'm with you, and I knew they would hurt you eventually," He says
