Raymond and Nancy

The Race

Raymond's P.O.V
I went to the drink stand, and I made two glasses of Mango Shake.

"I know everything", Clara said.

"What are you talking about?", I asked.

"You are in love with my sister", she answered.

I looked at her. I could not deny to a 15-year old girl, so I confess: "I am in love with your sister."

"She is in love with you too", Clara added.

"Are you sure?"

"She has been crazy about you since we came to Canada."

"I fell in love with her when we sang", I admitted. "What should I do?"

"Since you are still friendly rivals, I suggest you challenge her to a race", Clara answered.

"I got it!", I exclaimed. "Thanks, Clara."

I approached Nancy with the glasses of Mango Shake.

"Thanks", she said as she took her glass.

Nancy's P.O.V
"I am wondering if you want to have a race later", Raymond said.

That invitation made me excited.

"Let's have it now-Clara!", I shouted for my sister.

"What do you want?", Clara asked as she approached us.

I took Raymond's glass and commanded Clara,

"I want you to guard these glasses, so Raymond and I will have a race."

"Alright", Clara responded as she took our glasses, and she left us.

Raymond and I started the race. I knew how to swim, but I miscalculated how deep the water was, so I drowned.

Clara's P.O.V
What was Nancy doing? Why was she swimming like that? I realized she was drowning.

"Raymond!", I shouted.

Raymond rose from the pool and exclaimed,

"I won!"

Raymond's P.O.V

"Raymond!", Clara shouted.

"What is it?", I asked.

I looked where Clara was pointing: Nancy was drowning.

"Nancy!", I shouted.

I jumped down to the pool, and I rescued Nancy. Next, I gave her Cardiopulmonary Rescucitation. Thankfully, she survived.
