Next day, Dad drove the entire family, so we could drop Godmother Luna and Raymond at the same airport. We dismounted from the car to say our goodbyes.
"This is how Petra felt when we left her in Canada", Mom said.
"We will be back", Godmother Luna replied. "Why won't you visit us some time this year?"
"If we have the time", Mom answered. "We will be busy especially Lincoln's job at the local government is demanding."
"I will make time, so we can visit them", Dad promised Mom.
Of course, the couple must say their romantic goodbyes.
"Well, we are risking our status with Long Distance Relationship", Raymond said.
"We are doing it", Nancy responded.
"We will be back next year."
"Hopefully, Dad will fulfill his promise to make time, so we will visit Los Angeles some time this year. I have heard stories: Long Distance Relationship is hard."
"It is what it is."
"If you really love each other, distance should not be an issue about your relationship", I told them.
Nancy and Raymond looked at me.
"When did you get smart?", she asked.
"She is smart", Dad defended me. "She is correct too."
Suddenly, the announcer announced,
"The flight from Spokane to Los Angeles will depart for 5 minutes!"
"Make it quick, Raymond", Godmother Luna commanded her son.
"Goodbye, Nancy. You can trust I will never cheat on you while I'm in Los Angeles", Raymond said.
"I can promise you the same thing while I'm here", Nancy replied.
For the last time, Nancy and Raymond kissed. Then, Raymond and his mom went inside the airport. Soon, their airplane flew to Los Angeles, California, America.
