Mortal Smash of Justice Street (Clara's P.O.V)

The time was 7:00 p.m, and the day was Summer, so I could play video games during night. I activated the console, and I sat on the couch. Then, I noticed Nancy and Raymond were standing near me.

"Hi, Clara", Nancy greeted.

I exactly knew what these 2 people wanted as she asked the question: "We know you just started to relax, but can we play?"

Also, I knew where the situation would go.

"Fine!", I answered.

Usually, I would say "no", but I wanted to witness the childhood rivalry between Nancy and Raymond that I was hearing for a long time.

I stood while Nancy connected the other controller. Next, she sat on the couch beside Raymond while I was standing behind the couch to watch. The video game's opening rolled then the title screen appeared while the announcer screamed,

"Mortal Smash of Justice Street!"

"To clarify, we are just playing for old time's sake", Raymond said.

"Of course, we are done as being rivals", Nancy replied. "Our rivalry stuck in our childhood."

"I'm glad we agree."

However, I knew Nancy and Raymond were lying: they were still seeing each other as rivals, and they were ashamed to admit it.

Next, the announcer screamed,

"Choose your fighter!"

The screen showed all playable characters, and everyone was unlocked, so it was a free for all for Nancy and Raymond to choose. Nancy chose Muscular Jaguar while Raymond chose Super Plumber. The 2 players had rounds, and they beat each other back and forth.

"I admit you have become formidable through these years!", Raymond complimented Nancy.

"I have grown enough to defeat you!", Nancy exclaimed.

Yes, those 2 people reactivated their rivalry.
