Arabella's eyes were glued to her laptop screen, fingers jamming the keyboard to make her bacon perfect every obstacle.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps approaching her door jolted her back to reality. Her heart raced as she quickly shut her laptop, shoving it under her bed just as the door swung open. Her mother, Hwasa, stood in the doorway, arms crossed and a stern expression on her face.

"Arabella, what have you been doing?" Hwasa asked, her eyes narrowing as she scanned the room.

"Erm, N-nothing, Mom," Arabella stammered, feeling a pang of guilt. She knew how much her mother disapproved of her Roblox obsession. "Just...studying."

"well ok then sweety, goodnight, I love you."

Arabella smiled up at her mum. "I love you too, goodnight mum."

LaDon sat in her dimly lit apartment, the cheerful and bubbly facade she wore at university slipping away. Her fingers tapped nervously on the edge of the table, waiting for the video call to connect. The screen flickered, and a stern face appeared—her boss, Felix, the head of the mafia.

"LaDon, I have a new mission for you," felix said, his voice cold and commanding. "You are to kidnap the bestest most alpha Roblox player in the world."

LaDon's heart sank. She knew who that was. "Arabella?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

"Yes," felix confirmed. "She's become a target of interest. We need her skills for our operations."

LaDon shook her head, her usual brightness nowhere to be seen. "No, I can't do that. Arabella is my friend. She's kind and innocent. There must be someone else."

Felix's eyes narrowed, his expression darkening. "You don't have a choice, LaDon. Remember, you owe us. Do i have to remind you what nearly happened yesterday?"

The memory of the hitman's muscularness, the narrow escape, and the overwhelming fear.

"But Arabella," LaDon protested, her voice breaking. "She's...she's different. She doesn't deserve this."

Felix leaned closer to the camera, his eyes piercing through the screen. "Do you think I care about your personal feelings? You will complete this mission. Failure is not an option."

LaDon swallowed hard, tears stinging her eyes. "Yes, sir," she whispered, her heart heavy with the weight of betrayal.

"I won't let them hurt you," LaDon whispered to herself, her resolve hardening. "I'll find a way to protect you, my sweet sweet Arabella. Even if it means going against everything I've ever known..."
