Bundle of Joy

Lev gazed down at her newborn twins, her heart swelling with a love she had never known before. The tiny bundles nestled against her chest, their soft breathing a soothing rhythm that matched the gentle rise and fall of her own. Feeding them with breast milk, she felt an indescribable bond form with each precious life she had brought into the world.

Dr. Luke stood by her side, his hand gently resting on her shoulder, his eyes filled with pride and love. He had been her rock through the pregnancy and the delivery, and now, as they embarked on this new journey of parenthood, his support was unwavering.

The first month after the twins' birth had been a whirlwind of emotions and sleepless nights, but the joy far outweighed the exhaustion. The hospital staff had been exceptional, providing Lev with the care and support she needed to recover and bond with her babies. Now, with her strength restored and her babies thriving, it was time to leave the hospital and begin the next chapter of their lives.

Montreal had always been home for Lev and Luke, and it felt even more so now with their growing family. Dr. Luke had made sure everything was ready for their return, including hiring two nurses who would assist Lev with the twins. The nurses were experienced and compassionate, providing not just medical care, but also emotional support as Lev navigated the early days of motherhood.

Lev's mother had also flown in to be with them, her presence a comforting reminder of the strong family bonds that would surround the twins as they grew. With this support system in place, Lev felt confident and at peace. The stress that often accompanies new motherhood was absent, replaced by a serene happiness that seemed to radiate from her very core.

As they settled into their home, Lev found herself reveling in the simple, yet profound moments of motherhood. The way her twins' tiny hands curled around her finger, the soft coos and gurgles that filled the house, and the tender moments shared with Dr. Luke as they marveled at the little lives they had created.

One evening, as the sun set over Montreal, casting a warm glow through the windows, Lev sat in the nursery rocking chair, one twin in each arm. Luke knelt beside her, his hand gently stroking the head of one of their babies. They exchanged a look of pure joy and contentment, knowing that this was the beginning of a beautiful journey together.

Lev's heart was full, her soul at peace. Motherhood had brought a new dimension to her life, one filled with love, hope, and an unshakable bond with her family. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, she knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, with the same strength and love that had brought them to this moment.

Time had flown by, and Lev could hardly believe that Lorraine and Lance were already 3 years old. The twins had grown into vibrant, curious toddlers, each with their own unique personality. Lorraine was lively and adventurous, always exploring her surroundings with wide-eyed wonder. Lance, on the other hand, was thoughtful and observant, preferring to watch and learn before diving into new experiences.

For their third birthday, Lev and Luke decided it was time to introduce the twins to another part of their heritage: Seoul, Korea. This bustling city was another home for their family, filled with cherished memories and beloved relatives. It would be the twins' first time traveling, and the excitement in the household was palpable.

The preparations for the trip were extensive. Lev and Luke wanted everything to be perfect for the twins' big adventure. They packed their favorite toys, snacks, and plenty of clothes to keep them comfortable during the long flight. The nurses who had become part of their extended family were coming along to help, ensuring the journey would be as smooth as possible.

Meanwhile...

Lev's heart sank as she listened to her mother's voice over the phone. The news was bad—terrible, in fact. Annie, her dear friend, was missing in Korea. She had been caught in a tragic accident, and rescue teams were still searching for her. Lev's mind raced, trying to comprehend the situation.

"I can't believe this," Lev whispered, her voice trembling. "Annie..."

Her mother tried to soothe her, but the urgency of the situation was clear. Lev turned on the television, her eyes scanning the breaking news. Images of the disaster filled the screen, and her heart ached at the thought of Annie being one of those trapped and unaccounted for.

Lev quickly called Luke, her hands shaking as she dialed his number. He answered on the first ring, his voice immediately concerned.

"Honey it's Annie," she said, struggling to keep her composure. "She's missing in Korea. I need to help in anyway.

There was a moment of silence as Luke processed the news. Then, his voice was steady and supportive. "Of course, honey Go. Do whatever you need to help her. I'll take care of everything here."

Lev felt a wave of gratitude for his understanding and support. "Thank you, honey. My mom and the nurses will stay with the twins. I need to be there for Annie."

Within hours, Lev had booked her flight and was on her way to the airport. As she packed, she explained the situation to Lorraine and Lance in the simplest terms, trying to reassure them that she would be back soon. Her mother, strong and composed, promised to take good care of the twins while she was away.

At the airport, Lev hugged her children tightly, tears in her eyes. "Mommy will be back soon," she whispered, kissing their cheeks. "Be good for Grandma, okay?"

The flight to Korea felt agonizingly long. Lev's mind was consumed with thoughts of Annie, praying that she would be found safe. When she finally landed, she was met by Luke's assistant, who had arranged transportation.

Lev and Ali communicated already for the Media. Lev broadcasted and offering help in this situation.
