Twins First time in Korea
Lev and Dr. Luke had been eagerly awaiting this trip for weeks. The private plane ride from Seoul to Montreal was smooth, and as they descended through the clouds into Canada, Lev couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement. This trip was special. It was the first time they would be bringing their three-year-old twins, Lorraine and Lance, to Seoul to explore their heritage.
As soon as the plane touched down, Lev and Dr. Luke were too eager to waste any time. They headed straight to the house where the twins had been staying with their grandmother. As they pulled into the driveway, the front door flew open, and two tiny figures burst out, running as fast as their little legs could carry them.
"Daddy! Mommy! We were waiting for you!" Lorraine's voice was shrill with excitement, her curly hair bouncing as she ran.
Lance was right beside her, his eyes wide with happiness. "Mommy, Daddy, you're here!"
Lev knelt down just in time to catch Lorraine as she flung herself into his arms. "We're here now, sweetheart," Lev said softly, kissing the top of her head.
Dr. Luke scooped Lance up, holding him close. "Have you been good to Grandma?" he asked, his voice full of warmth.
Yes!" they both chimed in unison.
"Grandma bought us so much stuff!" Lorraine exclaimed, her face lighting up with excitement.
"She got me toys!" Lorraine added, holding up her favorite doll for her parents to see.
"And we ate at our favorite restaurant!" Lance piped in, bouncing with excitement.
Dr. Luke chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Wow, that sounds amazing. You two have been having so much fun, haven't you?"
"Yes!" the twins shouted again, their faces glowing with pure joy.
They both reached up and planted kisses on their parents' cheeks, their tiny arms wrapping around them tightly. Lev and Dr. Luke held them close, savoring the moment.
After a few more hugs and kisses, the twins wriggled out of their parents' arms, eager to show off their new toys. Lorraine and Lance dashed back inside, their laughter echoing through the house.
Lev and Dr. Luke exchanged a look, their hearts full. This was what life was all about—these moments of pure, unfiltered joy with their children.
Lev reached out and took Luke's hand, giving it a squeeze. "Our little adventurers," Lev said with a smile.
"Soon, they'll be exploring Seoul," Luke replied, his voice full of pride.
As they watched the twins play, Lev and Dr. Luke knew this was only the beginning of many beautiful memories to come.
Lorraine and Lance were turning three, and this year, their birthday was going to be extra special. Lev and Dr. Luke had planned a grand celebration in Seoul, their family's home and heritage. The twins were brimming with excitement—they had heard so much about Seoul from their parents, and now they were finally here, ready to experience it all.
Is this our plane?" Lorraine asked, her voice filled with awe.
Lev smiled and nodded. "It's all ours for the trip. Are you ready to fly?"
Lance looked up at his parents with a mix of excitement and nervousness. "We're really going to be up in the sky?"
Dr. Luke crouched down to their level, giving them both a reassuring smile. "That's right! We'll be flying high above the clouds, just like the birds. It's going to be a great adventure."
The twins held onto their parents' hands tightly as they walked up the steps and into the plane. Inside, the cabin was luxurious and spacious, with large windows that offered a clear view of the world outside. Lorraine and Lance were captivated by everything—the plush seats, the soft lighting, and the array of toys and books that had been laid out just for them.
As the plane began to taxi down the runway, Lev and Dr. Luke made sure the twins were buckled in and comfortable. "Here we go," Lev whispered, squeezing Lorraine's hand gently.
The engines roared to life, and soon, the plane lifted off the ground. Lorraine and Lance gasped in unison, their eyes wide with amazement as they watched the ground grow smaller and smaller beneath them.
"We're flying!" Lance exclaimed, his voice filled with wonder.
We're really flying!" Lorraine echoed, pressing her face against the window to get a better look at the clouds.
As the plane leveled off, the twins quickly settled into the journey. Lev and Dr. Luke had packed all of their favorite snacks, and the flight attendants, who were well-acquainted with the family, ensured that Lorraine and Lance were entertained throughout the flight. They watched cartoons, colored in their books, and even had a little nap nestled in the comfort of their seats.
Occasionally, Lorraine would turn to Lev with a question about the clouds or the plane, her curious mind eager to understand everything. Lev answered each one with patience, his heart swelling with pride at how inquisitive his daughter was.
Lance, on the other hand, was fascinated by the buttons and lights on the control panel near his seat. Dr. Luke indulged his curiosity, explaining how everything worked in a way that made Lance feel like a little co-pilot.
The 12-hour flight went by smoothly. The twins, with their mix of Lev and Luke's features, were the picture of cuteness—Lorraine with her curly hair and sparkling eyes, and Lance with his mischievous grin and bright gaze. Their excitement was contagious, and even the crew couldn't help but smile as they watched the twins explore the plane.
As the flight drew to a close, the pilot announced their descent into Seoul. Lorraine and Lance eagerly peered out the windows as the sprawling city came into view, its skyline dotted with tall buildings and ancient palaces.
We're almost there," Lev said, wrapping his arm around Lorraine as she sat on his lap.
"Look, that's Seoul," Luke pointed out to Lance, who was on his lap, his eyes glued to the window. "That's where we're going to spend the next few months, learning about our heritage and having even more adventures."
The plane touched down gently on the runway, and the twins clapped their hands in delight. "We did it!" Lorraine cheered.
"We flew all the way here!" Lance added, his voice filled with pride.
As they disembarked, Lev and Dr. Luke each took a twin's hand, leading them down the steps and onto the tarmac. The warm breeze of Seoul welcomed them, carrying with it the promise of new discoveries and memories waiting to be made.
With their parents by their side, Lorraine and Lance were ready to explore Korea, to delve into the rich culture and history that was part of who they were. And as they took their first steps on Korean soil, Lev and Luke knew that this journey would be just as special as the last, filled with love, learning, and the joy of family.
