Chapter Twenty-Four

Third Person View

The moment the brunette went out of the elevator and stepped into the younger one's floor, Lalisa feels her sixth sense kicking in. She suddenly feels chills all over her body as if something bad will happen--No. She knows something bad will happen.

So when her phone rings, showing a familiar name of Jennie Kim, she could only guess why she's feeling fear and guilt at the same time.

She excused herself for a minute to answer Jennie's call which is scary and confusing at the same time. The older girl asks her where her floor is as if she's coming to he--Fuck.

That realization makes her gulp, she was ready to take action and nullify the situation but she's way too late.

"LALISA!" a familiar voice.

"Sorry Miss Manoban, I tried stopping her 'cause you're in the middle of a meeting but she's not listening. "

The sight in front of her makes Lisa tremble in fear. Her sweat cold, she couldn't think straight. She feels like her blood drains out of her.

On the other hand, Jennie's blood was boiling. She scanned the room searching for her, Lalisa, which she instantly saw.

The younger woman was sitting on a leather sofa along with a girl who looks irritated by her sudden intrusion and the distance between them is only fueling the anger Jennie had.

Seeing the older woman though, The younger knew she'd be in trouble. And fuck it cause she doesn't know what she did to make the brunette so angry.

Fuck! Fuck! Fucking shit!

I feel my system overload as I saw Jen approaching. The moment I heard her call my name in an awfully loud tone I knew I'd be in deep shit.

I tried to regain my composure to the best of my ability and smiled at my secretary.

"It's fine Nayun, You can escort Miss Somi out with you. I'll just talk to Miss Kim." I mustered a smile looking at my secretary, you can probably see the urgent in my eyes as if telling her that I need them out now or else all hell breaks loose.

"Why Babe? We're having a really good time though." I feel Somi's ( my investors daughter who came instead of her dad ) hand traveled from my arm to my jaw and at that moment I knew I would be in deep trouble if she won't stop.

And so I caught her hand and push it away from me standing away from her. "W-What are you talking about?"

I asked in disbelief. "You said you'd join me in a dinner later so I guess I'll just see you?"

Fuck. Slowly, I turned my head on the brunette, I gulp. Oh fuck.

Jennie had her jaw clenched really tight and her chest heaving up in a heated sigh. Her glare makes me wanna scream, this is scarier than seeing a clown at the fucking night!

I swear this Somi is getting us in trouble!

"A-About that--"

"Lalisa. Did I call you or not?" I literally feel the chill in her fucking tone! It sends shiver down my spine and I tried my best not to run in fear. I really did because I swear to God! Jennie Ruby Jane is not someone I could mess with!

I gulp really hard already thinking of my words, of how should I answer her correctly.

"Y-You did," I answered frightened but clears my voice. I can't let my secretary saw me like this! Heck! Especially my investor! Not like a scared dim-witted!

So I tried to do it another way. Clearing my throat again, I look at Jennie's cold eyes and instantly regret doing so but I have to do this. I need to escape her wrath in front of these people even though it's impossible. Argh!

"Umm. Jen, Can I take Miss Somi out with me now? So I'll have my dinner wit--"

"Lalisa. Did I call you or not." No, she's not asking anymore. She's just blatantly telling me that and I swear! I just feel a gush of wetness from how deep her tone turned me on!

Oh yeah. Ridiculous, ain't it? Argh! How am I still attracted to her even in this soul-crushing chilly situation?!

"You did." I tried sounding confident but failed when I saw how she looks at me with eyes blazing in fury while crossing our distance in a rather forceful way.

She pulled me to her as she forcefully crushed our lips together startling me. My brain stops functioning as I let her bite down hard on my bottom lip as if she's punishing me I almost tasted my own blood and let her do her business until she breaks down the contact that wakes me up from my dumbfounded state.

My cheeks heat up as I stare down at her in my flustered state. But Jennie is in total contrast to what I feel.

Her expression was still dark giving me an idea of what I'm dealing with later. As she slides her hands down my waist, possessively holding it.

I haven't really snap out of my reverie but I'm amused by how she acts right now. Though I know how much she'll probably punish me later when we're all alone.

After all the weeks we've spent, This already happened. Not even twice or thrice but many freakin' times that I knew how far she would go to claim me wordlessly in front of others. ( this is not the first time she kissed me in front of another girl just because she caught me talking to them ) But nonetheless, it never fails to catch me by surprise. She never failed to amuse me.

Jennie Ruby Jane is something else.

"Lili. Can you now dismiss them and go with me already? I miss you." I gulp when she stared at me with her puppy eyes and pouting lips.

I knew right away I'll give her what she wants. I nod. "Sorry Miss Jeon but I'll cut this transaction short. Please escort her out Nayun."

My secretary nod at me but I could tell how that show stuns her, she's being professional.

"But! I'm not done yet! What about our dinner?!"

I feel Jen's hand tightened on my waist and I feel her deadly aura envelops the air again.

Fuck. Why do you have to get us in trouble!

"Actually Miss Somi if you still haven't caught on what's happening because of your small brain size, Let me explain it to you. This girl right here," Jennie pulled my tie lower as she levels me to her height. "Is mine. And I don't appreciate you, trying to steal her. So If I were you, and maybe if you use your brain a little.. you would go out. You wouldn't want to mess with me, I dare you."

I feel the chills run in my entire body hearing Jen the whole time. And I saw how Somi tried to talk back but realizing that it's Jennie Ruby Jane she's talking to she just snorted and bolt out. Not even waiting for my secretary anymore.

I feel Jennie's hold loosened on my tie when they were out of sight.

"Now Lisa-ah. Is this why you told me your busy? Busy flirting with another girl?" She crossed our distance yet again and I feel my throat dried up when I met her dark eyes, my instinct kicking in, making me step back.

"Why you're not answering my calls and text, because you're entertained by someone else?!" I keep on backing down until I feel on the soft material of my office sofa.

"Answer me!"

"No! No! Of course not! I'm sorry! I was just really busy with the project that's why I forgot to message you and then I thought maybe I could surprise you by taking you out on a date and so I purposely ignore your text! I'm sorry!"

I chase my breath when I said that all at once breathing heavily. I look up meeting Jennie's eyes.

I feel her dark eyes soften but then it turns dark yet again.

"Do you expect me to believe you Lalisa? From what I saw... You've been a really bad girl don't you think? I need to punish you Lalisa. So bad."

Oh fuck.
