It was like any morning, we arrived at Ffarquhar and opened the shed doors, we climbed into Percy and lit his fire and moved him to outside the sheds once we stopped Stephen jumped out and began to attach his snowplough, I soon jumped out to help him.
Once the snowplough was attached we got back in Percy and left for the quarry, as we turned onto the quarry line the snow began to fall quicker than usual we didn't notice at first until we had picked up the trucks and left from the quarry.
as we travelled down the line the snow began to fly through the air as the wind picked up pace the radio began to say a message. "TO EVERYONE ON THE ISLAND OF SODOR, SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY A UNEXPECTED BLIZZARD HAS HIT THE ISLAND SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.
When we heard those words, both me and Stephen quickly began working hard to get Percy to go faster who had also heard the radio and was pounding the rails with all his strength, I could hear the trucks beginning to scream and yell as they realised what was happening.
As swerved onto the track that goes downwards the trucks began to bump into Percy telling him to go faster amongst other things Percy began to go faster nearly derailing at the points, Stephen slammed on the brakes as Percy whistled in fright for the guard to apply his brakes.
We flew into past Mrs Kyndley's house and into Hackenbeck tunnel we poked out the other side and immediately began reversing back into the tunnel, coming to a stop inside both me and Stephen jumped out and began checking if Percy was alright which he was.
We heard a voice and turned around to see Mrs Kyndley waving for us to come in to her house, we asked Percy if he'd be alright in the tunnel, he replied saying he would and will whistle if anything happens, we then left and went into Mrs Kyndley's house.
