- 5 years later –
"My charger! I forgot my charger!" Jongseob only shortly looked up as I dashed by. Soul on the other hand couldn't be bothered. "She's making me nervous", he mumbled instead. "It's a talent", Jongseob gave back. "Did I pack my wallet yet?", I ignored them. They sighed. "Told you it is fine for us to get here a bit later. It takes ages for her to pack", Soul nagged. "You two can be glad I can drive you to the pick up point. And it ain't my fault they forgot to send me the confirmation letter", I bickered back. "Ever since I met you, you two bicker", Jongseob sighed. "We probably already did back in kindergarten", Soul grinned, "But she was the only one I could kind of endure." I had to grin. "And I liked that he had a trampoline", I shrugged my shoulders, "Can't blame me for that." I grabbed my car keys and looked at them. "Let's go now. Or we're gonna be late."
"Can't believe we all got accepted for our university's excursion", Jongseob said excitedly. "Heard that the students that have better grades had an advantage", Soul thought out loud. "Well, obviously. The chances are higher that they are students that normaly catch up easier when missing out. Plus, they usually make for the better representatives", I answered. "And they took you along, Soul?", Jongseob smirked. "Oh be quiet." I laughed. "Ro's going to help me catch up, will she not?", my friend asked with innocent voice. "I keep telling you this", I gave back, "You gotta learn to motivate yourself to do some homework without me threating you to not pay for food every now and then." "You're too kind to not do it." "And you can be quite an idiot sometimes." "Love you too, smarty pants." "Shut up." "Will you stop bickering for once?", Jongseob interrupted us.
A bit later we got out of the car. I scanned the people standing around. There were a few familiar faces, but none that would really strike me as especially nice or mean. Well, could be worse. "Aurora!", a voice resonated, making the whole crowd turn their heads for a second. I shrunk internally while looking for the source of the shout. "I didn't know you'd come along", Jiung said cheerfully as soon as he reached me. "Well... Yeah... I see you are too?" "Obviously! Who could miss out on such a chance? Everyone wanted to be in! No wonder they allowed you in though, you are basically the star student, aren't you? Well, anyway, I am excited, are you not? Think about it..." I zoned out while he continued talking. Jiung was nice and I really did like him. He had only one big flaw. He was friends with someone I wasn't exactly a big fan of.
"Car keys." Soul interrupted Jiung's rumbling as well as my thoughts. "Huh?", I gave back. "Car keys", he repeated, "I would like to bring my stuff to the bus." "Oh right! Sorry Jiung, gotta go, I need to do that too. See you later!" I hurried away, Soul following suit. "Caught you off-guard, huh?", he grinned. "Definitely." Soul chuckled and I smiled at my friend. Then we called Jongseob over. "Let's get this trip started, shall we?", he grinned at us.
