After saying my goodbyes to the other two, I wandered to my bus station, already deep in thought about how to set up the robot. Which tea components did he need? What human conditions had to be installed? What were the best mixtures? How did I have to design it to make it work the best way? The bus came and I let myself drop on a free seat, getting out my little sketchbook to write down the thoughts I came up with. I barely realized as someone sat down next to me, not until he spoke up.

"That looks quite interesting." I flinched and looked up surprised. Theo chuckled. "Sorry. What are you working on?" I explained my idea to him and he nodded thoughtfully. "Sounds pretty cool if you ask me. I bet you'll win first prize." I laughed and waved it off: "It's really not as hard as others may think. I bet I won't even be third. But I like to try." "Give yourself more credit, this is neat." "It's basic for science majors." "Neat." "Basic." "Okay, okay, I don't want to discuss with you, but believe me, for us normal, mortal people it's awesome to even come up with this." I smiled. "Okay, I'll take that", I then shrugged and changed topic: "Where are you headed to?" "City center. We barely have any groceries left at home." I grinned. "Classic", I commented. "And you?" "City center as well. But I live there." "Hey, I'll also meet with Keeho and Jiung later for some skateboarding. Wanna join?" "Me? On a skateboard? No, thanks, I'll just get hurt", I laughed, "But I might drop by and continue my note taking outside. A change of scenery usually helps my creativity." "Deal."

I let myself drop down on the warm asphalt around the skater park and looked over the few heads to find my friends. Jiung just showed them a new trick. As he found me, he waved and then got on his board to come over. As did the others. "Ro! What a surprise! What are you doing here?" "Well, Theo invited me. I'll just watch though." "No way, you gotta get up and stand on the board at least!", Keeho immediately commanded. I shook my head: "None can do." "Let her be", Theo helped me out, "She's a chicken when it comes to boarding." I nodded along to his words until I realized what he just had said. A what? "Listen here", I said calmly and got up again, handing Jiung my notes, "Chicken are awesome animals and they can be exceptionally cute sometimes. But-" I smiled at Keeho as I took his board from him, "I am human." Then I turned to Theo: "And I ain't afraid of a wooden board with wheels." I got on and automatically held onto Theo and Jiung standing on each side of me. "I simply don't want to be hurt." I looked up at them. "Now how does this work?"

They laughed and Theo took my hands from Jiung's and his shoulder, holding on to them to support me. "Just try to stay upright", he then said softly and gently pushed the board so it started rolling. I held onto him for dear life. Why was I so easily persuaded to do things when someone challenged me? "See? That's all there is to it", Theo suddenly said and made me lose my focus and therefore also my balance. I fell against him. "Well", I mumbled into his chest before straightening myself again, "I blame you for this." I was surprised to see his cheeks reddening as I looked up. "You may", he smiled foolishly. I was still too confused about him blushing to answer as Keeho suddenly put his hand on my shoulder. "Maybe you should stick to science", he teased me. I stuck my tongue out to him. He laughed. "But props to you for trying", Jiung smiled at me. I threw my hair over my shoulder gracefully. "Thanks. If you may excuse me now, I need to work on my project." Then I nudged Theo: "Thanks for helping!" "Don't mention it."

I looked up from my notes as I heard a loud crashing sound. And within seconds I was up and dashed over to the guys. "What happened?", I asked, looking at Theo lying on the ground. "It's nothing", this one now groaned and sat up, "Just hurt myself while trying to do the trick Jiung taught us." I kneeled down and looked at his leg. He had scratched it pretty bad – for a scratch. "It's not nothing", I scolded him softly, "But also nothing serious. Get up. I live nearby, I can take care of the wound."
