Sunrays peeked through the windows of Ranveer's bedroom, casting a warm glow across the room. Ranveer was in the middle of his morning workout, doing pushups, his muscles straining and sweat dripping from his forehead. Each movement was deliberate, his mind clouded with the intense emotions from yesterday's encounter with Sanjh.

As he pushed himself up and down, the memory of seeing her again consumed him. The moment their eyes met, a single thought dominated his mind: to pull her into his embrace and never let her go. For five long years, he had craved her essence, her presence, the very air she breathed.

He muttered under his breath, "Doll, you shouldn't have run away like that. But it's fine. I got you back, and I will never let you go away again." His voice was filled with a possessive determination, each word a vow etched into his soul.

Ranveer's movements grew more intense as he continued his workout, his resolve strengthening with every pushup. Finally, he got up, wiping the sweat from his brow, and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. His mind was already planning the day ahead, every thought centered around keeping Sanjh by his side, ensuring she could never escape him again.

Standing under the shower, the cool water cascading over his heated skin, he closed his eyes and whispered, "Sanjh, you're mine. Now and forever."

Ranveer emerged from the walk -in- closet wearing a crisp blue shirt paired with jeans. He sprayed his Loui Vuitton Perfume and his expensive shoes. He got a call from Shivaay, it was unusual of Shivaay calling this early but still he received the call.

"Ranveer, sorry to call you this early morning. Actually, I handed you some documents weeks before for signing, It's with you and there's a meeting regarding it. Will you please bring it with you to the office.", Shivaay requested his best friend and Ranveer understanding the depth of the situation, agreed and hanged the call.

Ranveer walked towards his home office, his mind still buzzing with thoughts of Sanjh. He needed to focus on his work, to keep his mind occupied. As he entered the room, the scent of polished mahogany filled the air, mingling with the faint smell of leather from the piles of files on his large desk. He started fishing through the papers, searching for a specific file.

Ranveer's POV:

Opening the drawer, I found the file I was looking for, but something else caught my attention: a photo frame. I picked it up, staring at the picture of my younger self, a seven-year-old Ranveer, and my mother, Shalini. We were both smiling, the innocence of childhood captured in that moment.

My heart tightened, a rush of conflicting emotions surging through me: anger, guilt, love, and emptiness. Memories I had buried deep within resurfaced.

**Flashback**

A young me, no more than seven years old, ran through the garden, my laughter echoing in the air. My mother, Shalini, followed me, her eyes filled with warmth and love. She caught up to me and scooped me into her arms, twirling me around.

"Ranveer, my little prince, always remember to be kind to others," she said, setting me down and kneeling to my level. "Being good to others will make you strong, stronger than any power or wealth can."

"But Mama," I pouted, "what if they are mean to me?"

[That's the other way around now, Little Ranveer🥰🔪]

Shalini smiled, brushing a stray lock of hair from my forehead. "Even then, my love. Kindness is a strength, not a weakness. It shows that you are above their meanness."

I nodded, my young mind trying to grasp the wisdom my mother imparted. "I promise, Mama. I will be good to others."

**End of Flashback**
