Marleena was reading over the contract and signed off on the agreement that Talley had sent back. "Cera, locate me a construction crew that Neiah Construction recommends for us to build this project making sure that it will be safe and followed to the letter with no deviations." Marleena had requested.
Cera "Ah, Kelby hasn't left yet. She's staying with Donald her cousin at his parents house just outside of town. Do you want to call her yourself or do you want me to?"
"Oh! she is still here in town then I guess I'll go by and see her so just hold the fort down. I will be back in an hour or two." with that being said Marleena grabbed her personal effects and left the office to go see Kelby.
Talley was on the phone with Ethan asking "How long are you going to be in town for?"
"I have to be here to make arrangements for the Business of Excellence Conference that my family is hosting this year and your town was chosen for this as it would bring big business for your town. Also it would give other businesses to look at sites for expansion of their businesses." Ethan smilling at Kelby as he spoke with Talley about it.
Talley Jubalin was ecstatic to hear that Ethan was going to be around for a while to get things ready for the Business of Excellence Conference that was to take place in their home town here in Cobbles, Ohio. "That sounds great. I plan on attending a few of the sessions especially the beginning and the closing, I would like to hear what speakers you will bring in and what they have to say" he said.
"Mom and dad have one speaker from here to talk about what they do to enhance their employees. There might be a few others that we haven't heard about yet." Ethan responded calmly as if it was everyday affair to plan such things as this event.
Kelby looking at Ethan shook her head and said "That they needed more speakers of how to maintain there turnover of employment of people. In their business. Julia had asked for other ideas as well as for peoples names"
"Oh yeah right mom did say that. Hey, Talley would you be interested in speaking at the conference of how your family struggled after a loss of income and how you got help to be where you are today it would inspire so many others to do the same thing." Ethan chimed in.
"I don't know about this, I would have to confront my mom on this as it has everything to do with her." Talley sounded pretty shaken by the events that took his dad from him when he was growing up.
"Okay think about it and get back to me so I can let mom and dad know about this" Ethan said his goodbyes and hung up the phone.
Kelby told Ethan that she was going to see Marleena and discuss some plans for a building that would be for the Nano Technology Training Center and Service. After her arrival to the Sharm's office to see Marleena, she looked up and greeted Kelby with her usual smile and offered her a chair to sit as they were to go over the plans and draft of the building.
"What would you say to the entrance being that of a revolving door that resembled the inner workings of a computer fan and it would self seal at closing time and not allow any one out or in unless they had a pass key to enter?" Kelby offered the idea for the door entry.
"That would be great only small problem would be how reliable would it be to enter and exit during the work day?" Marleena asked inquiring about the safety of it.
Kelby looking at her surprisingly "It would be safer than sliding doors as it would and can revolve either direction and stop immediately upon the person entering the building stepping out of the open area to the lobby, and vice versa the outdoor area, being motion activated using solar power or the old push power of people."
"Mmm, that sounds good lets build a model and see if it works then." Marleena had her doubts, where Kelby had faith it would work even in the model. With that much hammered out in the meeting Kelby went back to the make shift office to see how the rebuilding of the rest of the houses were going and saw that there were many of the men who had worked on the Princess Tower hotel were working together to rebuild a co-workers home for his family who had been living in a make shift shelter for the past three weeks since the storm.
Marcus looked up from the schematics of the design and saw Kelby in the distance, Hollering at her and she was there to see what they were doing and if they wanted to be in on the build of the new project for Nana Technology Training Center and Services. Marcus and the rest of the crew that was working with Marcus all agreed as they would also work on the houses for the following two weeks to build them in compliance with the weather that had happened out of the blue and make them all safe with safe rooms compatible with wifi built in to help with signals to get out and in as well. Kelby had toured the home that was almost finished and saw that it would stand up to a F3 tornado if it ever came by again. The safe room would stand up to any size of wind coming its way and keep everyone safe.
"Would you like to keep working like this and work on bigger projects as well and be able to hire more men that are willing to work like you do? Providing for them a chance to learn and be a big family as well? For instance someone gets hurt you could provide retraining for them or for their family?" Kelby suggested.
"That sounds like a good idea, what would I have to do to provide this for the ones that are working now. I wouldn't know where to begin." Marcus sounding down for the moment.
Kelby's eyes lite up with excitement. "I know some one who can teach you and show you what you can do to help your employees to better themselves."
"Who?"
"Let me make a call and I will get you the office plan to put into effect. As it worked for me as you know I'm into the contractor construction for projects." Kelby said smiling "Dad can you get me the initial plan we made when setting up the company when we changed our policy to work for us as what the Callsburg-dakster plan is, you can fax it to me at Sharm's Conglomerate Corporation their number is by the phone there in the office. Please as I am setting up an office here for another contractor who is in construction as well"
"Okay I will do that" Ronnie said being thankful that there is another team of contractors they can help. Looking through the files in the top drawer of the desk where Kelby had placed the initial plan, he also saw the number for the fax as well as the email for Kelby, Ronnie faxed the papers first then scanned them off to Kelby's email address so she could get them directly to print at the nearest print shop if she desired to.
