NEXT MORNING
AVANTIKA'S POV

After parking my car, I entered into my building while sipping coffee. As I walked through, I saw some unusual behavior. First, they did not greet me, and secondly, everyone stared at me as if they had seen a ghost. I walked into the elevator and pushed my floor button, ignoring them.

It made a ping to indicate that the doors were opening when it reached the chosen floor. After exiting the elevator, I started heading toward my cabin. But I slowed down when I noticed that employees on this floor were also acting strangely, and my PA was pale, as if all of the blood had been sucked from her body.

I approached my cabin and was about to open the door. However, Aashika moved quickly enough to grab hold of the door, as if to keep me from entering my cabin. Leaving the door handle in place, I turned to face her directly and asked, "Explain you have 2 minutes! And the justification had better be meritorious, or otherwise you are well aware of what will occur."

"Maam, I mean— cabin— no no umm, I'm saying that he..." What's up with her today? I thus cut her off, saying, "You know what! I don't have all day to hear your talks. Bring me some coffee and meet me inside in 5 minutes. Now, off you go" and entered my cabin.

To my surprise, it wasn't empty; there were others present. And there was one person there whose face I really didn't want to see. I wanted to flare up, so I did just that: "What the hell are you doing here? Didn't I mention yesterday that you're not welcome here? Do you not understand, or are you acting dumb? When the deal is cancelled, you are still present in my building, in my cabin, and on my seat. Aashika call the guards. Laato ke bhoot baato se nahi mante. Shayad tapad ka asar khatam ho gaya hai? Phir se yaad dilana padhega!" By the end of it, I was fuming with rage. However, he was merely swaying in my chair nonchalantly, as though my words were a lullaby.

{"What the hell are you doing here? Didn't I mention yesterday that you're not welcome here? Do you not understand, or are you acting dumb? When the deal is cancelled, you are still present in my building, in my cabin, and on my seat. Aashika call the guards. A person who only understands the language of kicks and not words. Perhaps the effect of slap has worn off! I have to remind again!"}

He uncrossed his legs and clasped his hands on the table when I snapped my fingers to get him to talk. He sighed happily and began speaking while resting his chin on crossed knuckles. "Hmm! to answer your first question, what the hell am I doing here? Is because this hell of a person is present for the meeting that we didn't finish yesterday. Secondly, I don't need to be welcomed in my own company. You know what I mean? Third woh toh mein hu dumb, as in Pagal. Lastly, you should not raise such a question; have you not read the contract? So it makes sense for me to be in the building, in my cabin, and on my seat. And Aashika, please don't bother them; it's unnecessary. Hum toh bhoot banne ke liye bhi tayar hai, tumhare liye! Chahe laat maaro ya thappad. Mujhe koi harz nahi hai, marna chahti ho toh maar do... mere gaal toh idher hi, yeh lo!" putting his cheek forward for a slap. After all of his drivel, he flashed his gums as if he had won an award for the worst moronic speech.
