In one of the corner chairs, a trio was sitting and discussing something serious. Suddenly, a classy brunette wearing a beige short blazer exclaimed loudly and not too sophisticatedly. "Iske baap ka—," that's Ruhi for you. Furious that someone would dare challenge her friend. Her, Avu! Ruhi was so overdramatic that she slammed her hands on the table and glared at Avantika with rage. It felt like she was going to eat her alive.

{"His fathers—"}

But someone had to think with their wits, so Armaan stepped in and said, "Ruhi, watch your mouth and first of all don't create a scene, people are staring at us. Secondly, quit glaring at Avantika; it's not as though she was aware of what was going to happen. Now we have to figure out how to help her! not to drive her into a dark pit."

"Ruhi, I swear. I'm so angry with myself. I talk about rules and regulations. But look what I did—I once didn't read a contract in my life, so it had to be him. And it's hard for me to process the whole thing. Him, Tara, Abheer, the project, and the foolish contract that I signed without proof reading it. I'm so lost right now." It served as a queue for Avantika to vent her annoyance. To quell her anger, Armaan slipped a cool cup of iced Americano towards her.

He advised, "Have you double-checked it with Ruhi. I think she can remove some loopholes. Where you do not have to work on the project and can avoid paying the $2 million sum."

After settling down on the couch and taking a sip of her coffee, Ruhi remarked to him, "I thoroughly checked it and that bastard has made the contract so solid that it's next to impossible to avoid it. Listen, Avu, how about I tuck in $1 million? I could also ask my father for help. What say?" She concludes her statement with a proactive proposal.
