AVANTIKA'S POV

We made a fiasco in front of the entire office, but I am so angry right now that I do not care. He needs to understand that I am not a toy that can be played with and then discarded when no longer needed. Being a human, I too have emotions! But, what he does not realize? That, I am not the same Avantika. I have changed, and he has to accept the new me!

I was staring at his back, enraged, when I noticed the emergency exit open and a toddler emerged from it. After wiping away the tears, I blinked a few times and noticed Abheer standing there huffingly, trying to regain his breathe. My lips automatically curled into a smile. His direct eye contact with me made me feel ecstatic and delighted. He began running towards me with his small legs and a toothy grin on his face. With wide arms, I crouched down so he could jump right into my arms. However, I began to fold my arms upon witnessing Veer kneeling down to his level as well. But why is he crouching down? Do they know each other?

Once more, a smile spread across my face as I witnessed Abheer rushing past him. He pounced on me so excitedly that I embraced him. But what he said next brought tears to my eyes. "Avi Maa, mein aa gaya."

{"Avi Maa, I came."}

"I know Mera Baccha. Mera Abheer aa gaya." I then took him in my arms and got to my feet with him. I was so engrossed in him when I noticed Rajveer standing directly in front of us. Again, I had a stern expression. Hiding Abheer's face in my neck, I asked him, "Did you not hear clearly? I said, Leave." But he kept looking Abheer in my arms, which infuriated me, so I snapped my fingers at him. "What?" I questioned his gaze.

{"I know, my child. My Abheer came."}

"Abheer get down now!" He gave Abheer an order in a deep, gruff voice. Wait, how does he know his name? Are Rajveer and Advait related? Are they related by blood? However, I am familiar with all of his cousins. And what right does he have to address my Abheer with such authority?

"Excuse me, who are you to order him around?" Nevertheless, all he did was glare at us. There was a pregnant pause, so I asked again, rather aggressively, as it seems that he is deaf. "I asked, WHO ARE YOU TO AROUND HIM AROUND? Answer me!"

"BAAP HU MEIN USKA! Now do you get it? He is my son. Abheer Rajveer Dev Singhania son of Rajveer Dev Singhania." When he shouted those words, my grip on Abheer's neck relaxed and I became numb. I ran out of things to say as my eyes became teary.

{"I AM HIS FATHER! Now do you get it? He is my son. Abheer Rajveer Dev Singhania son of Rajveer Dev Singhania."}

"Ba—Baap—yeh—I—I mean—beta?" It was so painful that I was unable to speak clearly. The child in my arms, who calls me Maa, is my best-friend's son? He is my Veer's son, which is why he felt so familiar. He felt mine...
