'IT' is there,
Inside your mind.
"trust me"
~UnknownWelcome to the 20th Chapter...
_________________________AUTHOR'S POV
The grand venue of The Brewery London was alive with glittering lights, buzzing with excited conversations, and the flash of cameras. Guests from around the world walked the red carpet, each one hoping to make their mark on this spectacular night. Among them, two notable figures were present whose appearance added an unexpected twist to the evening. They were none other than, Avantika Aarya Raichand and Rajveer Dev Singhania.
Unbeknownst to each other, both were immersed in their own experiences inside the venue. But their paths were about to collide in a way neither of them saw coming. To make things more intense, something else was watching from the shadows or should I say 'Someone'. 'IT' took in the scene with a dark, twisted satisfaction, its true motives and identity hidden in mystery.
AVANTIKA'S POV
The announcement echoed through the hall, pulling everyone's focus. "Ladies and gentlemen, the award ceremony is about to begin. Please take your seats." The host's voice cut through the low hum of conversations, signaling the start of the evening. My heart fluttered with a mix of excitement and nerves as I straightened my dress once more, trying to shake off the tension. I'd been waiting for this moment for three years, and now, it was finally here.
I glanced around, hoping to spot Armaan and Ruhi, but they weren't here yet. The ceremony was moving forward, and my name hadn't been called, but the waiting was making my nerves worse. My nervousness was building so much that I was about to lose my last bit of courage, but then I saw Armaan weaving his way through the crowd, a sense of urgency in his steps.
Before I could even react, he pulled me into a side hug, pressing a gentle kiss on my forehead. "Sorry we're late," he murmured, his voice soft but apologetic. "Ruhi had some last-minute work, and then we got stuck in traffic."
Ruhi appeared right behind him, her face full of regret. "I'm really sorry, Avu," she said, slipping into the seat next to me. "I didn't mean to delay us. The traffic was just awful."
I couldn't help but smile, the knot in my chest loosening. "Arey! Koi baat nahi," I reassured them both. "Honestly, I was nervous before, but now that you're here, I feel calmer. The awards have already started, but my turn is just about to come up."
{"Oh no! Don't sweat,"}
Armaan and Ruhi exchanged relieved glances. "We didn't miss your turn, then?" Armaan asked, searching my face for reassurance.
