Yeah, I don't think that it's going to work because the whole story where you become a perpetually armoured flaming knight seemed pretty ridiculous when I thought about it.
For the most part, I might as well make it into a none-harem story but I don't intend on making promises after I have lost the passion for it.
Instead, I would like to try this far more unique idea in the form of 'what will happen if steampunk/clockpunk/magitek-punk genre meets fantasy' and you know I like these kind of stories.
Especially Gate since it is a story where our world meet with another fantasy world and it would have been such a fantastic new stake on the genre if it weren't for how the author is being a political asshat and how it switches into a harem genre where we has to sit our ass to some generic guy or whatever.
And of course, there is seriously an oversaturation of too many isekai, whether it is a deconstruction, played straight or just being edgy with little nuanced or context especially this manga that is brought upon my face called 'Failure Frame' (Or is it any other name).
It is stated that Failure Frame is pretty much beloved by many but to me, it is cringe that it borders on hysterical.
We have our MC being abused and neglected by his parents, go to a class, get isekai'd to another world, he gets shit stats while everyone has good stats, he gets sent to, what is it called, 'Rubbish Dimension', MC suddenly becomes OP and now, he gets out, gets a harem, wants revenge against everyone and-
You know what? You know what I'm talking about and even you guys would realize how sick and tired this type of genre that it is so borderline pathetic and what's that? What does the MC look like? Does he look like Kirito from Sword Art Online? With the short black hair and stuff like that? Oh, geez, that's great...
Another goddamned generic anime isekai protagonist...
What kind of new things will they make?
Seriously, it's getting really tiresome with the whole 'Kirito Clones' out there that it is getting tiresome.
At least other isekai anime have protagonist that doesn't look like a Kirito clone like a certain long blue haired fem boy that is also a slime, a skeleton and many more and there is no denying that it is a seriously unique design of the protagonist.
Especially a certain blue slime fem boy because if any of you guys know of an anime where the main character is a cute anime fem boy, let me know because the reason why I actually like Gun Gals Online is because Kirito no longer looks like a 'Kirito Clone' but rather, looks like a fem boy.
You may think that it is gay...
You may think that it is surprising especially coming from me who, for the most part, is a prolific favouritism to the harem genre where I want to see the absolute galore of female anime girls and how gorgeous they are...
But I assure you that I am not a simp.
Instead, I just like it if instead of 'Kirito Clones', we should cinnamon rolls the role of being an anime harem protagonist.
Why do I even request this? Is it boredom? Is it me ranting? Is it me because I think the whole idea is pretty much a snowballed attempt at me trying to with the whole cringe stories of 'anime where MC gets bullied, abandoned, gets OP powers, get all the girls and takes revenge'?
