Ford was sitting at his desk, seemingly having his head stuck in a book like always. He was writing about the newest anomaly that he had discovered in the forest and did not want to miss a single detail that was still fresh in his mind. Bill was right! A whole UFO was right under this town and no one even knew about it! Ford knew how those cliffs were formed could not have been natural at all, but UFO? That was unexpected!
Sketching away in his journal, Ford had a bright smile lingering on his face. Ever since his first encounter with Bill Cipher, finding anomalies and investigating why Gravity Falls was such a hotspot became much easier on Ford. Everything that he ever wanted was right at his fingertips again! All he had to do was shake hands with Bill to let him into his mind, which wasn't as bad as it sounded. Bill was interesting in such a good way...so mysterious and different from any other being he's discovered...
Continuing to write in his journal, he could feel his eyelids start to get heavier and heavier on his face. When was the last time he slept? He had been too excited with every new discovery that he's forgotten to sleep. Slowly realizing how long it's been to actually close his eyes, the pen in his hand slowly dropped from his hand and onto the ground. The pen fell out of his hands with a "click! clack!", which, for a second, awakened Ford, but immediately tiredness consumed him once again. Ford's head started to become heavy to hold up and slowly drooped down onto his shoulder. Overcome with such drowsiness, Ford begrudgingly shut his eyes and started to drift off to sleep.
. . .
Ford flutters his eyes open to find himself back into that dream world. Ford looks around the area to try and look for his new triangular friend. He did leave the guy hanging for a couple days now, he just hopes he's not too late. Walking more into the world, he moves around his journals, hastily looking for his buddy. Could it be that he left? Realized that his talents weren't enough? Maybe he failed to do a task Bill wanted and thinks that he's not worthy to inspire him with his wisdom. What if his work was all for—!
"BOO!"
Bill suddenly jumped out of the journals towards Ford in a sudden instant.
"AH! Oh, it's you Bill...hi," Ford spoke up as he placed a hand on his heart while trying to catch his breath.
"Hello! Hello! Helloooo! Look who's back after 2 days, 17 hours, 23 minutes!" Bill greeted as he held out a clock at Ford's face.
Ford backed away a bit, raising an eyebrow that Bill would keep track at how long they've last seen each other. Maybe he didn't need to worry after all...
"But who's keeping track, am I right?" Bill shrugged off while throwing the clock over his shoulder and looking away from Ford.
Cocking his head to the side, Ford gives Bill a slight smile and amusement at the being.
"Did you miss me that much?" Ford questioned before Bill shifted his gaze back onto Ford.
"Well! Of course I did! I have so much to tell you and have been waiting for you to return!" Bill responded back with.
"Now, where were we..." Bill began as he summoned a chair for Ford.
Ford was pushed down into the chair, rather forcefully, which forced him to grab the armrests to soften his impact on the chair. Looking up at Bill confused, he watched as the entity paced back and forth in front of him while rubbing under his eye? For Ford, it kinda made sense since Bill didn't really have a chin...or a mouth. Bill suddenly came to a stop and turned to look down at Ford. The gaze of the being immediately made Ford look away and nervously look down at his seat. Bill's gaze was something to say the least, nothing that he's ever encountered before, but at the same time...it was almost welcoming. But enough of that! Ford's eyes glanced back up at Bill who was still staring at him. Yikes...awkward.
