Bill?!"
Bill grinned widely and started to get up from his chair while Ford tried to back up from him and covered his mouth and widened his eyes in shock.
"Well, oh, well, oh, well! If it isn't forget-me-ford!" Bill spoke up as Ford was still in shock and couldn't even process words right now.
Bill started to lean in closer towards Ford as he managed to blurt out, "Y-You're human—!"
"Oh? I haven't noticed, Sixer!" Bill responded as he twirled around and looked at his figure and his hands while Ford continued to look at him in confusion.
Ford couldn't wrap around and why Bill looked like this! For the months he had been gone, how was Bill able to transform into that! Did he ever imagine Bill like this? No! Maybe? He can't even remember right now!
"What's wrong, Sixer? Don't like the new look?" Bill questioned as he placed a hand on his chest and standing right back up.
"How are you...like this? How did you do it?!" Ford questioned as he fixed his glasses and nervously looked away.
Bill was more charming than Ford expected him to be, and his face kept heating up while Bill kept on surrounding him or slightly showing off his new form. Bill knew exactly what he was doing. No matter how hard Ford was trying to hide it, Ford was blushing.
"Well, in the mindscape you can do anything your heart is set to! I decided to conjure up this little old library and this form!" Bill explained as he held his arms out with a bright grin appearing on his face
"Since it's pretty boring waiting for you to show up, I wanted to see what the fuss was about being a human!" Bill explained before Ford could feel the guilt ride up into his stomach.
"Look, Bill. I'm sorry I haven't slept to come check on you. The portal had been—!"
"So, are you just using me as a way to get your fame and money?" Bill question as Ford immediately shook his head.
"No! Not at all, Bill! I just want to get it right!"
Bill crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow at Ford, he said, "I don't feel as if I'm getting credit for anything. You're spending a lot of time with that Fiddleford! Is he more special than me?!" Bill questioned as he gripped his shirt and started to walk towards Ford.
Immediately, Ford held his hands out and shook his head, replying with, "Of course not! You hold a special place in my heart, Bill! We're partners...remember?"
Bill, stopping himself from walking over to Ford, crossed his arms and looked away from him, sighing, "You left me all alone, Sixer. Maybe I deserve it. Maybe I'm really not worth your time..."
Ford could feel an ache in his heart as he walked up to Bill and placed a hand on his shoulder and was shaking his head.
"No! I'm the one who screwed up! I'm sorry for taking our time away to be with the portal and Fiddleford! I-I'll stop talking to him more and come visit you!" Ford replied back as Bill looked down at the ground, still disappointed.
"You're only saying that to make me feel better. I can tell, Sixer," Bill sighed as Ford could feel guilt weighing and regret down on his shoulders.
