Skeppy woke up the next morning expecting to cuddle into Bad, but he got Foolish instead.
"Where's Bad?" Skeppy yawned.
"He went to class." Foolish put down his phone. "You alright?" Foolish let Skeppy cuddle into him.
Skeppy tried to hide his disappointment. "I still don't feel good..."
"Yeah...I'm sorry." Foolish sighed. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
"I'm gonna beat your ass." Skeppy threatened playfully. "I'm surprised Bad didn't beat your ass."
"When you were struggling to stay awake while the ambulance was coming, I thought he was going to. He was really pissed off at me...he's over it now that you're going to be okay."
Skeppy hummed and rubbed the bump on his head. "I thought I was going to die."
"Damn..." Foolish held his breath. For the first time, he realized his loved ones could go at any moment. "I'm so sorry." Foolish squished him tightly, protectively.
"Ow!" Skeppy yelped.
Foolish loosened his grip. "Fuck. Can I do anything right?"
Skeppy whined. "You're fine, I'm just hurting. I know you didn't mean to hurt me...can you get me some water?"
"Yeah." Foolish got up and took Skeppy's water cup off the nightstand. "You want something to eat? I can't cook but I can order something decently healthy."
"No, just water for now. I don't think I can eat without it coming back up."
"Okay." Foolish went to the kitchen and poured Skeppy a glass of water.
"Foolish, your phone!" Skeppy called from the room.
Foolish rushed back in and gave him the water, taking his ringing cellphone in exchange.
"Val, hello?" Foolish sat on the edge of the bed. "What's wrong?" Foolish gave Skeppy a wary look.
Skeppy tilted his head. When he saw Foolish's expression change, his heart dropped out of its chest. "Something wrong?" He asked.
Foolish covered his mouth, eyes widened. He put the phone down and he didn't say anything for awhile.

Bad came rushing through the door after suffering classes. He dropped all his stuff by the door and ran to find his partners sitting in the main bedroom.
"Bad!" Skeppy sat up.
"Did Valerie say anything else?" Bad asked.
Foolish shook his head. "Haven't heard from her again yet..."
Bad sat on the bed and held their hands. He squeezed Skeppy's. "You okay, darling?"
Skeppy nodded. "My head is okay but I'm worried about Étoiles."
"Me too..." Bad sighed and looked at Foolish. "I'm going to tell Tina to bring Valerie here. I don't want her staying at a crusty hotel. She should be here where we can give her love and support."
Skeppy touched Bad's shoulder. "We don't have room, baby."
"We'll make room." Bad decided. "You and Foolish sleep in the bed. I'll sleep on the floor. Valerie can have the guest room."
