The man kept a steady pace behind Antonio and Michaela as they made their way through the streets of Fairmont. With every step they took the feeling of being followed intensified. They ducked into a narrow alley, hoping to lose the mysterious man on their tail. As they rerached the end, they found themselves in an empty lot surrounded by tall fences. The man was still behind them, his footsteps getting louder as they stopped in their tracks. Antonio turned to face him, his voice firm despite the overwhelming fear making his body shake.

"Who are you, and why are you following us?" The man was tall and lean, his dark hair slightly covering his thinly trimmed eyebrows. His face hardened from the battle raging inside his mind. His dark trench coat covering the entirety of his body, also as though a cloak to hide behind. The only light about him was his shimmering green eyes that seemed to dance in the light. "My name is Ethan Locke. I've been tracking you since I saw you appear in my dreams Antonio. I'm here to help." Michaela exchanged a glance at with Antonio, her suspicion shadowed by curiosity.

"What do you mean seen Antonio in your dreams? Why should we trust you?" Ethan rolled up his sleeve to reveal a deep, jagged scar running along his forearm, "I survived one of its attacks. This scar serves as a reminder of the day my life changed forever. It gives me a connection to the demon who ruined my life." Antonio felt a chill run down his spine. "What demon and what dream?" Antonio demanded, trying to steady his voice despite the unsettling feelings Ethan's presence had stirred. Ethan took a deep breath, his bright green eyes flickering with a mix of hate and determination.

"The demon Oniisa, a creature that feeds on fear and despair. I survived its attack years ago, but it marked me with this scar. Since then, I've been able to sense its presence and see glimpses of its next victim in my dreams. That's how I found you, Antonio." Michaela narrowed her eyes, still skeptical. "And you just expect us to believe that you wan to help? Why us? Why now?"

Ethan looked at her, his expression emotionless. "Because I know what it's like to be hunted by this thing. I lost everything...my family, my peace, and my life. Oniisa is relentless, and it won't stop until it destroys everything in its path. I've dedicated my life to stopping it, and you two are the closest I've come to finding a way to end its reign of terror." Antonio felt a mixture of fear and determination bubbling inside him. "But we already know what he have to do to stop it. But we need more information." He said, his voice stronger now, fueled by the desire to protect those he cared about.

Ethan nodded. "The ritual is key. But to make sure it works, we need to understand the full process, not just the parts you found. We have to find out exactly ow the Ocheole tribe intended to banish Oniisa before they were wiped out." Michaela crossed her arms, deep in thought. "So, you're saying we need to find more details about the ritual? Where do we start?"

"I have some leads," Ethan replied. "There are old records and artifacts scattered across various archives and private collections. Some are here in Fairmont, hidden away, and others are farther. We need to gather everything we can to reconstruct the original ritual." Antonio nodded, his fear slowly turning into resolve. "Then we keep searching. We have to find all the pieces to perform the ritual and finally defeat Oniisa." Michaela glanced at Antonio, then back at Ethan. "Alright, we're in. But how do we know we can trust you?" Ethan met their gaze, sincerity in his eyes. "You don't have to trust me completely, not yet. But know this, I've risked everything to get this far. I won't let Oniisa take any more lives.

Together, we have a fighting chance." Antonio and Michaela exchanged a look, a silent agreement passing between them. Despite their doubts, they knew the3y needed all the help they could get. As they left the empty lot, Ethan fell into step beside them, a new ally in their battle against the darkness. They weren't alone in this fight, and together they had a chance to defeat Oniisa and stop its reign of terror for good.
