I've been completely lost in my thoughts for the past five hours, ever since I uploaded the video for Darr.
My mind has been so preoccupied that I haven't been fully aware of my surroundings or even what I've been thinking about. The act of uploading the video seems to have triggered this deep mental immersion, leading me to become entirely disengaged from everything else around me.
Earlier today, I was walking to a cafe to take a brief break from my day. For the first time in what feels like ages, I wasn't listening to music through my AirPods.
Normally, I'm always plugged into my music, which tends to drown out everything else and keeps me in my own world. But today, as I walked in silence, I noticed something that had completely escaped my attention before: a church that stood right there on the street.
As I approached, a wave of realization hit me. I was struck by the fact that this church had been there all along, and yet, I had never noticed it until now. It was almost as if it had appeared out of nowhere.
I couldn't help but wonder how I could have overlooked something so significant in my environment. It dawned on me that my intense focus on work and my constant immersion in my own thoughts had caused me to miss details and landmarks that were right in front of me. This experience made me reflect on how being so absorbed in one aspect of life can make us blind to other important things around us.
As I stepped inside the church, I was immediately enveloped by a serene and calming atmosphere. The interior was bathed in soft, filtered light that streamed through the stained-glass windows, casting a colorful mosaic of gentle hues across the pews and stone floor. The light created an ethereal glow, adding to the sense of tranquility that surrounded me.
The air was cool and filled with a subtle fragrance of polished wood and incense, which created an inviting and soothing environment. The high, vaulted ceilings rose gracefully above me, adorned with intricate wooden beams and elegant arches that drew my gaze upwards, giving a sense of expansive openness. The walls were decorated with delicate frescoes and softly glowing candle sconces, adding to the warmth and reverence of the space.
