"Dine with me.." I speak to her in the calmest voice I can manage, making sure to keep it quiet, almost like a whisper.
"Haa but give me my phone back!" She says trying to take it back from me, and I simply close my eyes.

"Avni must be worried for me. He'd been texting-"

She goes quiet and looks in my eyes, "you're cute."

I give her a look and she stops and makes a sound that indicates that she is irritated.
