♤~Y/N'S POV~♤
The people of Serenity looked very welcoming for travelers.
They offered us all food and drinks for free as soon as we arrived.
Seems like the King doesn't pressurise them for taxes.
As we walked around the village market , general Park askedme for permission to feed our horses from the near by farms.
I walked to one of the stalls when I suddenly noticed some royal guards standing around the village market.
They were all dressed into ordinary clothes but I could tell that they were guards because the way all of them were consciously hiding in different positions.
I casually walked to one of the guards and stood behind him while pretending to look for something.
"Stay alert, the king will be back any moment from his secret love meeting."- I heard one of the guards whispering.
Secret Love meeting?
The guards suddenly changed their positions and went towards one particular direction.
I also decided to follow them behind.
As I was following them, my mind was getting more clouded with the thought of the king already being in love with someone.
I quickly hide myself behind a tree when one of the guards turned back.
Three of the guards went on one direction while the other two went to a different path.
I followed two of the guards who looked more smart then the other three and ended up going to the royal Palace.
Why did they come back to the Palace? Aren't they supposed to meet the king after his meeting?
One of the guards forgot to close the Palace gate, giving me a chance to get inside.
The Palace was not as big as mine but the interior was pretty impressive.
