☆Y/N'S POV☆

"Your Highness, someone from Merriment has come with a message."- One of the guards told after I gave him the permission to enter the room.

"Let him in."- I told him and after sometime a man wearing a brown Cape entered the chamber with a huge scroll in his hand.

"Greetings to the Great Queen of Welkin."- The man told as he kneeled infront of me.

"What does the King of Merriment wants from Welkin?"- I asked him as he stood back up on his place.

"The King of Merriment wants to create an alliance with Welkin, Your Highness."- He told me before passing the scroll that was in his hand to one of my guards to pass it to me.

"Why don't you read it for me?"- I asked him.

"I apologise, Your Highness but Our King has strictly ordered us that only the Queen should read the scroll by herself."- He replied to me with a kind smile.

I opened the scroll carefully and read everything before closing it again as it was before.

"I would like to meet the King."- I told him before returning the scroll to him.

"The King would be very pleased to know that, Your Highness."- The man told with a smile on his face before leaving the room.

The sudden interest of Merriment on Welkin doesn't sound good to me at all. According to what Soobin had told me, the King of Merriment is very close to The King of Serenity as both of their Kingdoms are very close to each other and even the King's lover is from that Kingdom than why does Merriment wants to create an alliance with Welkin especially after the King of Serenity has captured my people?

Even though The Queen felt like it was a trap, she still went to Merriment to meet the King as she had given her words to the King's special man who had came with the scroll a week ago.

Y/N entered the royal Palace of Merriment with two of her guards behind her. She looked around the hallway curiously as she found it very amusing how elegant the entire decor of the Palace was.
